This makes me feel bad for LG. They are like the SUPER smart kid in school that everyone goes to for answers for homework but never talks to him

I had an LG G2 in college, still my favorite phone I've ever had. That ultrawide camera made... all the difference. Seriously, it always got a reaction out of people, how it was able to fit everyone in the shot with space to spare.

What IF.... LG stood back and let the other companies do what they do as LG watched how the new stuff happens. and then give birth to a new phone that is so innovative they add all the new stuff PLUS their own style on things? I feel we will see new phones from LG after the next set of tvs comes out by LG. :D

I remember wanting to buy an LG phone, but my country tends to inflate the prices on less popular brends, and then I saw the difference between my local stores and global ones I decided it was not worth a shot.

I really miss LG. I still have such fond memories of my LG G2 and how ahead of it's time it was. It still looks great. And the last LG phone I bought, the G6, had such a nice wide angle camera that nothing else could compete with. And a really clean design that felt perfect in the hand.

This is such a fair assessment of LG. Many US reviewers are far too snarky with LG without adding meaningful commentary. Thanks.

I miss my LG phones. They were fantastic. Last one I had was the G8X, one of the best phones I had.

It was far easier for me to move to an s22 than it was to fix my velvet but honestly I would have rathered staying with the LG velvet. Losing the SD card and the headphone jack for a more expensive in the end phone has annoyed me greatly.

I love the music background so much. and i love your videos so much that am pausing my studies just to see the videos you post.

I used the Optimus G and the G2 when they were new and they were incredible phones. The Optimus G felt incredibly premium and ahead of its time with the glass back and it had a really good IPS LCD screen. The G2 wasn’t as premium feeling, but they packed a 5.5in screen with thin bezels which kept the phone small. LG fell off because they started chasing gimmicks and every flagship came with some fatal defect that destroyed the phone in less than a year.

i use LG phone and i can say they are overwhemingly underrated ....

i have the lg v60 and the dual screen case that you can buy separate, and i really love it, especially considering at the time of purchase AND now it was less money for a better quality phone. people poke fun of me for it but i genuinely think lg phones were quite nice, and it makes me a bit sad that they halted their mobile line :(

But all the points you make are very valid and even those of us who are way less mobile savy can understand this. I remember owning an LG Nexus 5 and then an LG G2, they were really good phones, flagships way cheaper than a samsung or an apple at the time. I loved my G2.

LG before the "notch screen era" had some of the sexiest flagship designs.

I was quite happy with LG V20! This phone is for creative people with one of a kind camera (PHOTOGRPAHY) and audio. A split screen is a very useful feature, I think every phone should have it. But unfortunately, the phone has reached its limits and I need to let it go. I just pull a trigger and bought V40, can't wait to test it. It shoots photos in RAW just like V20 and it has a log profile when you shoot video! I hope it will meet your expectations!

4:26 I just clocked that the phone is an LG Beat 3. I loved this phone back in the day, and it was definitely on level with Samsung phones at the time.

Had a LG G3, aaaw such a vivid memory, absolutely beautiful display, curve shaped phone, really comfortable to hold, camera was way ahead of it's time, feature packed phone, battery was terrible though, but I still love that to this day, even when I look back at the pictures that I have taken from G3, they still feel good enough even till date... I wish they could stay longer and just get on track. Glad I had a story about them.❤

LG V10 and V40 ThinQ owner. Really miss the swappable battery of the V10 in the V40, but both have great audio with the DAC.

Why does nobody buy LG smarphones? Short answer: LG doesn't thinQ enough about marketing

Just bought a used LG Velvet. It was a toss-up between this or an Oppo Find x3 lite for the same price. The Oppo is a year newer, and in most areas it seems better on paper, but I went with my heart (a stupid thing to say about a mass-produced consumer item, I know). The Velvet seemed more solid, less plastic. And I was really happy with my LG G5 - i went through two of them. For me they were very comfortable to use - very light, and the fingerprint sensor on the back was well placed and worked every time. I could just whip it out of my pocket and it unlock it before it was even in front of my face. The keyboard learning knew exactly where I was trying to put my fat sausage fingers. The camera didn't have a billion megapixels - but it took great photos that were very detailed and rich. The main selling point was the removable battery though - instead of carrying around powerbanks and cables - just have a spare battery in your pocket. And when the batteries started to give up the ghost, just get a new one for like, $15. You could keep a G5 going theoretically forever. Or until the processor starts to fry your screen at least. Despite all of these positives - I was still the only person I knew that owned an LG phone. LG did a great job marketing to my use-case scenario, but maybe their problem is that I'm the only sane person in a sea of idiots. And so... that's my story on why I bought an LG Velvet.

I bought a LG- G VISTA 880 in 2016 on sale for $200 US. I don't know what the launching price was but I love it , still watch video's on it every day and picture is incredibly great, but that's all I use it for mainly, sound is great has stereo speakers and really kicks hard. Only 8 GB storage has a Snapdragon 400 and I wish so badly they would get back into the phone business.. I'm using a Galaxy A 14 now as my calling and app device soon to be replaced by the A 54 when I upgrade this winter. Just cannot stand not having stereo speakers on the A 14 so I'll go on using the LG as backup for video and music..Thank you for sharing this great video with us all, great job👍👍

i did buy lg g3 many years ago and will never do it again less than a year had so many heating problems and the screen went black so went back to samsung got s9 still works like new 4 years later and got myself flip 4 few days ago and loving it

My first phone 📱 was was the LG Q6 it was second hand but it lived for a long time compared to other second hand phones which my friends had LG and Nokia are my favourites

I love innovation, from back in the day I have been jumping from brand to brand, Motorola, Nokia, Blackberry, HTC, Sony, Huawei, Samsung, Apple and LG. For some reason LG was the device that kept me coming back. I absolutely loved my LG devices and the fact that they always had something new to offer. Now that LG is out of our market I find myself in a place where I look at phone options and feel like there is this empty space that I can't help but feel like LG would have filled. Yes they might not be the best according to all the reviews and and, but an amazing device if you are looking for a great all rounder! Great video!

There is a background of marketing between companies and service providers. Some of the biggest cellular service providers often do NOT have LG phones on their bring your own phone lists and this sometime limits people to selecting them as well.

Every phone I have owned since my Galaxy S2 in 2013 has been an LG starting with the LG G3, with my favorites being the G5 and V20. I almost always bought them for that DAC, camera, and ability to swap batteries (with the V20 and G5 even having a promotion to send you 2 additional batteries for free). I went to buy a new phone after my V60 starting having USB C port issues. I was crushed that they dropped their mobile division. I'm on a 1+ 10 Pro and liking it, but I now don't have my DAC and it really sucks. I'm going to miss LG and it sucks losing them after almost 10 years of loyal service.

HP Elite X3 here still running good as new with full windows 10 ARM on it. Had an LG K51 that was an android nightmare from day one.

Had the LG V20, loved it! And when I bought 2 they came with mini projector's for FREE! Then we got the G8 and they sent us a 49" LG Smart TV.... For FREE!! They sent me a whole damn tv that I still use to this day!! Wish LG still made phones. Oh and my mom and nana still use their G8s currently. We bought 4 the Christmas that they released

LG is like the ADHD kid in school who is actually a genius but behaves like a knucklehead. Samsung is the back bencher who cheats but still scores 98% and Apple is like the rich ass kid who is the sports player and is loved or has been a crush of every girl in the school. Edit: Oppo is the child who sells drugs and works as a pimp but still is loved by all the teachers.

I had the V10 and V20 when they stopped the removable battery I moved on and haven't really heard much from them since. Course I had a Motorola Z4 for two years and wasn't even looking.

Sadly, LG announced that they will shutdown their smartphone business on April 5. No more LG phones

I've had 2 LG phones, and both of them lasted for years. I just changed my last one for a Samsung S22. Of course, the camera is better, and there's more storage than with the LG, but the LG lasted for 5 years, and the battery popped up and that's the reason why I changed it.

Hello, I am a Korean who worked in the LG Mobile division. LG smartphones were in the red in the 24th quarter, 5billion $ deficit. It seems that we will not be making flagship smartphones now, and we plan to make only low-cost mobile phones through the ODM method. There are many reasons for failure , the biggest reason is that you have to make a phone that the senior executives want, not the phone that the public wants. They set final names ,prices and add weird features. They led postponed the development of a rollable phone than we could sell 2million LG Wings . LG innovating at the time of feature phones.

I love my dual screen v60. It's more practical than most people will realize. Most phones have only one screen, so few people have had hands on experience. It saddens me that I will not be able to replace my phone when it dies. It's also ironic when others first see my phone, they are intrigued by it and will immediately ask "what kind of phone is that?"

the lg velvet has a internet protocol issue in netherland unless you got a router or a newer type of modem the internet just randomly drops out i gave my sister my note 9 and she doesn't want to go back to the lg velvet even while its newer also if lg was stubborn with the battery replacement i would be on a lg because the g2 was neat bring battery replacement back
