I came back after so long and i can only say, game just work very bad now, even compare to s1 and some other s. Hit reg was never fully fixed, crashing time to time i never had before and most important i dont know why game feels like its 30% slower and controls also feel like it have delays sometimes. Their servers was never good and now with more players i think it works even worse

Pro tips: shield batteries are faster than medkits, stick with your team and maybe form a squad.

Once you get better it’ll get soooo fun. Even id your not so good it’s amazing and a journey to get better. What I like to do for apex is go on kill goals on a character. I would have 100 kills on a char and grind to 500 or 1000 in a week or so. It’s satisfying to see your stats improve from like a week ago it’s fun.

Noice man I played when it first came out, and then left because I played fortnite alot. But the werid thing was I still had the game, never played it though. Back in season 6 i played with my freinds and it was fun I ended up getting a squad wipe without there help. I think I didn't like this game at first was because I was all confidence. Like I was the best at every game. Anyway, I came back in season 7 because I found it boring. And It was the best decision I made, had so much fun and reminds me of overwatch but battle royale. I was thinking to switch over to warzone but apex is more fun and barely has hackers.

I played the first 3 seasons but then dropped off and atarted playing fortnite and warzone and now that I’m back playing apex consistently I truly realized how much I’ve missed since I last played in season 3. Ttk is completely different now, new maps, new guns, the 3v3 arena mode, new legends with crazy abilities it’s insane how much I’ve missed and I feel so lost now. Apex seems so hard now. I’m used to easier games and now coming back to such a skill based shooter like apex has really thrown me off and given me a steep learning curve I gotta climb

New to apex, how long does it take to get used to the map/recoil in weapons

@@latenight_4097 I’ve played Apex since the start, like every game it takes time to learn maps. It varies for each person but at level 100 if you play each day you’ll learn the map, the rotations to make and more. Learning the recoil of different weapons is an important skill however it isn’t vital to learn before level 75 since the matchmaking should match you with players that can’t control recoil as well. I play on controller, so I usually drag my stick down but the recoil can vary depending on the weapon. I’d recommend mastering guns such as the r-801, r99 and wingman early on. I’m now around level 450 but I wish I learnt my way around maps earlier which takes time. Hope this helped, if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Fair enough man but CoD has been around forever so to me, it doesn’t get more nostalgic than Call of Duty. Unfortunately the last couple of call of duty games have been plagued with cheaters and that ruins it for everyone. Let’s hope they make a legitimate anti cheat for Vanguard though. Surely the devs are noticing the player base dropping off quickly right now, even with a new season just being released.

Alright I will give you a quick 101 on apex There are 6 different ammo/gun types (heavy ammo/cyan colored-light ammo/tan colored ammo-energy ammo/green colored-sniper ammo/purple colored- the bocek bow ammo/arrows- and heirloom guns (or called care package weapons-super OP) Barrel mod reduces bullet spread Extended mag gives more ammo Stock helps recoil and reload speed Hop ups are certain options for guns that can give it an edge (for example, the turbo charger reduces 2 energy weapons spin up turn for faster shooting) Shield cells heal one bar of shield Shield battery’s heal all shields Tiny Medkit (I forgot what they are called) heal around 20% of your health Medkits heal all health Phoenix kit heals all shield and health Arkstars stick to surfaces and can do headshot damage (and they stun) Thermites = sideways fire Grenade is old fashion fun Your armor levels up as you do damage throughout the game Your survival slot can carry one of two items, a portable respawn beacon (usable only once per item) and heat shields, which when thrown repeal the storm in a dome like fashion, and the smaller the circle, the quicker the shield will be destroyed Certain rarity’s like gold items provide benefits Gold backpack= health on revived player Gold knockdown shield= self revive Gold helmet reduces ability and ult cooldown Gold armor doubles shield cell and tiny medkit, so essentially one of each does 2x what it originally did (not applied to full heal items) As for legends, you’ll have to experiment, but here are some tips Fuse is a wet dream for all your grenade goals Horizons gravity lift can help you ascend places, but it can also be used to straf mid air and heal up on Valkyrie can fly, just make sure to get used to her and practice Rampart = fortnite but actually fun Crypto is the poor mans bloodhound and seer. Although his drone can see if enemy’s are near by looking at a giant banners on the map Seer is OP, enjoy him while hes good Lifeline can double revive and she is great to start of with Bangalor is a smoker, so smoke when retreating or smoke the enemy if they are shooting at you when you are rotating Mirage is a mind game, so make sure you can utilize him correctly. Best way is to make sure your ult is always ready for a fight, and use it to take fights, not escape from them Caustic can survive in other caustic gas. His gas was also buffed, so it does accumulated damage now When pathfinder, when your grapple hits the ground, press the jump button to fling yourself off the ground Bloodhound can scan faster in his Ultimate Octanes stim is useful for straffing in a fight, so use it Wraiths portal does not last long outside the ring Revanent and octane combined make a super meta strat that basically allows you to push enimies from a distance (octanes jump pad) and to have death protection (revs totem) Wattson sucks atm Gibby or Gibraltar is a great defense character. He has the fastest revive time if you revive in his bubble or shield dome, and his gun shield can absorb 80 damage so always aim from a distance and in most fights And now some movement tips, to wall jump, your going to slide into a wall at an angle, when close, press your jump button, and then when you hit the wall, press it again To slide jump to keep momentum, slide, press the jump button, and whalla Turn your FOV up to 102-104 Hope this LONG FRIGGIN COMMENT was helpful...if not I wasted 20 minutes XD

Oh and I forgot to mention the gold guns in the game R-301-light ammo gun/ close to mid range, assault rifle, easy to use, great damage Wingman-heavy ammo gun/ kinda like a revolver gun, big damage, good fire rate, takes some time to get used to, but perfect to practice your aim EVA-8-shotgun ammo gun/ fully automatic shotgun, use up close duh Longbow-sniper ammo gun/ quick fire rate speed for a sniper, good damage 40 to the leg-60 to the body-100+ to the head. Goes through ammo so make sure to have 3 stacks of sniper ammo L-star-energy ammo gun/ USE IT, ITS AMAZING!!! Put a 2x bruiser sight on it, the sight that looks like an upwards arrow Alternator-heirloom gun/ you get this from care packages, it’s a random chance you will get it so DONT worry if there is another gun in it (avoid the triple take imo) this gun deals extra damage to shields. Pick this gun up always (does not have replenishable ammo, so what the gun has it what you got) Three types of currency in the game Apex coins are what you buy, and they can buy everything Crafting material is what you get from the free/premium battle pass and apex packs, these unlock skins, weapon skins, emotes, banner poses etc. save 1200 to get yourself a legendary skin And the red currency that I also don’t know the name of. This is used to buy items in the store (but only items that you already have) so let’s say if you have a legendary octane skin, and there is reskin of it that you like, you can buy it with the red currency, but only if you have the original skin for it. Heirloom weapons (that replace your punch animation) have a super small chance of coming from an apex pack, about 0.001% I think. Don’t worry about those, wish apon a star every apex pack, if you don’t get it, move on until the next pack. The ping system has a scroll wheel, hold your ping button, and a scroll wheel of options will pop up for better communication There is a bar when outside the circle that tells you how close you are to the circle Play ranked, it’ll help with positioning If you can’t aim well, then just hip fire, most guns can do it pretty well. DO NOT be afraid to run away and to reset a fight, know when to back out, and be aware of what’s around you Now for some simple explanations. Trails are what you get from ranked, and trails expire after every season, so if you get a trail, prepare to grind for it again next season. Three trails, diamond (blue), masters (purple), and predator (red/orange) Challenge yourself by only running guns you pick up off the start, this will help you get accustomed to them...unless you have like double trash weapons like two mozambeks or P2020 or just something you don’t like This is not like any other BR, and it is way competitive and people have incentives to win, so make sure you in a good mood cause this game still has some server issues, which can be tough on the soul lol Best loot will be at the giant light blue beam that you see from the drop ship, lots of people land their so don’t feel pressured to go there Press your bottom right trigger to look around you while your jump master to get a 360 perspective while flying straight Don’t look at a wall when healing, bob in and out of cover and keep visual on the enemy, it might save you from being pushed Finally, HAVE FUN! Get a good group together, try ridiculous ideas and strats, do weapon challenges, pick eachothers legend🤙🏼 Good luck

i’ve seen no hackers but i tend to find people teaming in arena, although it could be them just having a mutual truce so they can gain more placement sorta like the pickaxe swing you would do to another team so you let them know you didn’t want to fight so you could both rotate to zone. people still do this regardless of epic saying that it was ban-able and considered as teaming.
