Hey, at age 68 I pulled up roots, moved from my 6 acre 100 year old Iowa farmhouse, bought a small vacation home in Florida on a quarter acre. I'm planting a food forest on my empty lot, lush gardens and moss laden oaks whirl a magic spell on me...at 71 now eating figs n mangos n papaya n banana off my trees, my fern blanketed paradise nurtures me into adulthood as I slowly(sorta)embrace old age all by myself...life moves on, take it as it comes, do it all for the right reasons...for your family...haters gonna hate...be you...! Oh and congrats...!!!

I’m 46 and just now getting a chance to build a tiny house. I plan to live there when I’m an old lady and I’m very excited about it. My life goal has stayed the same but every 10 years brings change to the path getting there.

In a world where so many people are in debt over their heads from student loans and mortgages and credit cards debts it is so refreshing and even inspirational at how you managed your life so well. A tiny house was your answer to the question and it paid off. I am confident that you and your little family will succeed in whatever plans you make. You have an incredible maturity at 26 when you decided to build a tiny home to get your debts paid off. What a sense of responsibility and ingenuity for that age. kinda late to this game, but I'm happy for you both. I, personally, would appreciate updates on your tiny home. As for the change, any well rounded adult knows that a good life is about change. Ultimately, you are your own priority. What makes you happy is what is important. It doesn't make your channel irrelevant.

Your tiny house was the first one I ever saw online and yes, it maks me a little bit sad knowing no one is living in it. But I am happy for you! Only one thing: you aren’t “starting” a family. Congratulations! I don't know why anyone would say you "sold out" everything is a reason, season or a lifetime. You knew going into it it was for a season. Not to mention you also have created a wonderful youtube channel and met a lot of amazing people due to the tiny house. And still getting income from it is nice as well. Love this so much! My family and I too planned to live in our tiny house for the rest of our life. Hubby retired, we had such fun plans with our adult special needs son, oh the things we planned to do. We had 4 years in our home, some of the best of our life. Sadly hubby is now physically disabled and we had to move into a small home to care for him. Life happens. Enjoy the ride, it can be much shorter than you planned.

I started watching your videos about 6 months ago and stumbled into this video just now (it is a cold sunday morning in the Netherlands) and it is a special video because it is about YOU this time! I really don't know if it is any use reacting after 3 years, but I will anyhow. You don't have to explain yourself not living in this tiny house anymore for hundreds of reasons, but one of them is you've contributed so much to the tiny home movement; to me you are the face of it. I’m just watching this in August 2021. I wanted to say Congratulations on your little one. I hope you do an update if you haven’t already. I love your channel with Tiny Homes. You do a great job of hosting and introducing us to the possibilities available. We just downsized from over 3000 sq ft to 1600 sq fr. Now the job of purging to fit into this home. Stuff has always run my life and I’m tired of so much time being spent on keeping it organized, uncluttered,and clean. I want to spend my life loving the people that God brings into my life and “building up treasures in Heaven”, my eternal home. This life is so short compared to eternity. Next step, the possibilities are endless. I just have to figure out how to fit a piano (my husband teaches piano, voice, and guitar) and a couple of dining room pieces passed down for generations. We might just have to build him a tiny music studio. However, I love the music flowing through the house. Right now I’m doodling floor plans. We will see what comes next in this life. Eternity is already taken care of by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on a cross almost 2000 years ago. For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever (you) believes on Him will have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world (you) but that the world (you) might be saved. John 3:16&17. I hope to post a Tiny Home video someday if Jesus does not come back before then. If He does, He has already built me an Eternal home. Hope to see you there.
