That "Laser Antennae" bit sounded like nonsense marketing BS, so I looked it up. Turns out it's referencing a manufacturing process called Laser Direct Structuring, which they used to make the metal traces of the antenna. As far as I can tell this is just a factoid about the manufacturing process and doesn't mean the antenna is anything special. Basically, it's not a "laser antenna," but an antenna that just happens to have lasers involved at one step of its manufacturing process.

I'm sure it's a nice product, but the DJI Mic 2 has quite a few benefits over this (which is probably why you're using it). It has 32 bit float recording, it has local storage on the device itself and it allows you to plug in any microphone with a 3.5mm jack to name a few things. So not saying this is a bad product or anything, but just saying the DJI product is twice as expensive and heavier for no reason feels a bit disingenuous.

You should’ve let us listen to the recording too! I mean it’s a video, so that would’ve been the perfect way to show how good or bad the mics are:) Edit: I’m just blind and didn’t see that he did in fact show it! I’m sold the quality was really good!

I didn’t notice it at first but there’s text at the bottom showing when he’s using the DJI and when he switches to the Hollyland mic. I did notice immediately when the latter was more muffled.

When I used to work as a waiter, I'd have loved something like this. So often people would either forget what they said/ordered or straight up lie. The amount of times I could have saved face to a manager by playing back a clip later showing I didn't fuck up their order. Definitely would have been worth $150.
