If the US (" a US company") buys TikTok and millions of users abandon the site, thats a really bad sign for the US. And there's nothing, absolutely nothing stopping them from doing that. Users can just migrate to the next, non-US owned video sharing site. This is a terrible "investment" idea, and why would Microsoft be forced to integrate a foreign company for "national security" reasons? This is clownish
