There are even red foxes on the Gold Coast in QLD Australia , I seen one with my own eyes in Bundall next to the racetrack in a urban area

One stole a squirrel from me while I was hunting. I set it on a log to concentrate on a second one in the tree and before I could react he stole it and was gone. I wouldn’t have hurt the fox anyway.

Wildlife cameramen usually have very long lens. And possibly a very good masking outfit & shelter. And a great deal of patience and luck has to be involved.

I don’t know what the video says but it’s likely due to their quick attention/alertness and small frames in proportion to catching their small meals unlike big animals hunting bigger prey where the agility will be lesser
