I’ve gotten two shinies with the new background: a Voltorb and a Drilbur. Turns out my immediate area became a Drilbur nest with the update, so I’m not complaining.

I know a lot of people don’t appreciate it but I can tell that Ivan is losing weight from going to the gym. I can see the progress and JT I need you to tell him that for me! I can see he’s lost weight and he needs to keep up the good progress!

Yesterday was a wild grind. Caught 6 different shinies in one day. I love the glow the poke balls have at night now. Such a subtle but cool touch

I got locked out of the game for a while last night, but once i did get in to see the new update a Hisuian Growlithe spawned right next to me. Clicked it, and it was an XXL Shiny! Literally my first click after the new update was a shiny. ^^

I got shiny squirt from the research. thought he was brighter because of biome shading till i saw the sparkles.

Im in the utah valley and i can see the mountains in the background on the overworld and encounters. Pretty neat

I think this might be the best update as it’s so interesting and cool. And with evolved pokemon spawning I’ve seen a mightyena in a forest and it was awesome

The new biomes update is honestly pretty cool, it does captures the look of my surroundings quite accurately! And yes I did find 2 shinies so far during this event, my very first Shiny Gligar and a Scyther! 😁

So far for the even I got 3 shinies (mawhile and Pikachu) on a lure and then a shiny surkrit as well as got a hundo squirtle from research

These biomes are amazing and I got a shiny bulbasaur from the research

First pokemon I caught in the update mode was shadow Foongus. For the next 3 catches, shadow Foongus was sitting there in the center of my catch screen, unmoving. I tried to make the 4th catch, but the pokemon was literally stuck INSIDE the Foongus and the ball just kept bouncing off of its immoveable face. I restarted the app, and thankfully Foongus disappeared.

Oh finally we have new wild spawn Pokemon in the wild after nearly 4 months in this year. This is Wiglett close relative with Diglett. Thank to Niantic for the very slow mo debut new Pokemon. But Wiglett right now is rare wild spawn Pokemon.

When I click in a pokemon to catch it the background produces me a lot of lag…

Really liking this new biome feature. It really does make me feel like I'm rediscovering the new world as they announced. One of the best quality of life updates we've had in a while.

Next potentially update in Pokemon Go will be Team Rocket Go grunts will give a gift to Pokemon Go players unlike Mateo was exchanging gift. Pokemon Go players will receive gift from team rocket grunts once a day. These gifts were randomly at any side of the world. Then players need to tap the pin gift, once it reaches 15 pinned gifts in the same type Villion region. A SHADOW Scatterbug appears.

I had no clue there was a new poke out. I hate the beach but live only 6kms away so off I go.

I don’t know why but I’ve had these biomes for probably a month now. I remember catching shiny Bagon in the beach biome on CDay. And even Litten CDay I had the biome update?

So something cool. It’s currently raining outside for me so the biome is raining on the catch screen too.

I wish there were more varieties of Kanto pokemon (kanguskhan) in usa.

I like the artwork update but if the update restricts pokemon to certain areas and the spawns become repetitive it will ultimately just upset people. Have to wait & see once the "its shiny & new" phase wears off but I think if the biomes rotated like events and were just boosted if you were actually in the biome that would have been better as not everyone has options for every biome...traveling around the globe cannot keep being the only way to do things or spoofing will never die

in pvp it has one of the highest overall attack stats in great league. rank 23 i believe. that means it wins cmp over charizard by almost 20 points

I think the pink tree is a dogwood, not a sakura. It doesn’t really matter at all though, my guess is that Niantic just made a basic pink tree and called it a day.

today I experienced very weird glitch .... me and my friend started party and every regional pokemon spawn was different for each acc .....for example in my game an oricorrio spawned and for my friend a lunastone ..... for me shellos and for him on the same spot spawned pansear ...... someone caught the same glitch ?

Unfortunately Wiglett is pretty bad compared to most other Pokemon for PVP. Mud-Slap isn't that great of a move, Mud Shot is the move you might be thinking of which is a much better fast move.

I caught a Wiglett in Toronto along the waterfront of Lake Ontario. So the beach biome has a size threshold. I wonder how small of a lake still works.

I have beach area that has little bit cliff beach background (some rocks on beach around with mountain in distance)

Also, Wugtrio is no good. Way too glassy

It's currently autumn here in Argentina and I am really liking the forest biome, it has pretty details resembling the current season. No shinies yet, but that will come eventually.

The new background is ok. There were, of course, some inconsistent backgrounds. We had six people, and four would have one style, and two would have a totally different style on the same pokemon. We have all played for a while, so we are used to Niantic and their glitchy "updates"
