Moreover, while I do respect your right to contribute to this dialogue; I feel as though you might be missing the focal point of this video's message. In an attempt to weed out this type of all or none principle, these two have addressed the grey areas of football in 2024; and I propose that it brings forth the question of whether or not the NFL is confused in it's attempt to rectify the modernization of contact sports in the wonderful country known as the United States of America. Closed mouths don't get fed these days, and changes do not occur unless we voice our concerns pertaining to our thoughts and opinions.

@@bloated_complacency Fair take and you’re right if we never speak up. But we have and things still change. I personally live the game and won’t stop watching either way. But that’s the only way to get their attention. Stop paying for tickets and stop watching games. It’ll never happen on a grand enough scale for them to take action. Guess I’m somewhat jaded cause I saw a previous era in the early 2000s where no matter what fans said, long as they made money they made whatever changes to the game they wanted. Big business makes me as a fan feel helpless but my team scoring TDs or getting sacks keeps me coming back. Now if they change that, then maybe I’d reconsider

@@TheKingRiku if you’re aren’t willing to step away now after all the changes we’ve already seen, it sounds like a fake threat. Players are making money and targeting is called every big hit. If that hasn’t moved you away nothing will. Just enjoy bro football is king no matter how they present it to us

@@TheKingRiku fair point I can’t assume anyone’s breaking point. My point is that football changes so much and we’re already so far removed from the original game, it sounds weird when people say things like “this isn’t football” as if football hasn’t constantly kept changing. It’s really the only constant. Most people find a version they like and act as if changing from that version is the wrong. It will keep changing so anyone uncomfortable might be as well bow out now
