Two years ago my country suffered a terrible earthquake. The first instinct I had when I felt the shaking was to get my cats. I literally wouldn't leave the house without them. I can't comprehend how people are so vile.

I ugly cried the whole time. It's so heartbreaking to see them there waiting, hoping their family comes back. These "people" deserve to be punished.

I have similar story, after my wife and I got married back in 2013. We came back from visiting family and one evening when I was cleaning my car, this cat came up to me. It was friendly and everything.

I can’t begin to understand people abandoning their pets when they move, even just across state lines. It’s literally the easiest thing to take them with you. I don’t care if I’m moving to the damn moon, I’m getting a little astronaut suit and bringing my cat with me.

I know I'm two years late to the party. But I still REALLY hope Rolos owner sees my comment. Because I want her to know just how damn special she is!!! Cats aren’t throwaway animals. I now have a stray that would lay in the grass and watch me. He would eat bugs, we started feeding him he was friendly. We were going to keep him as a indoor outdoor cat. Got him neutered and all shots. Was told to keep him indoors to heal for two weeks. That was 4 months ago, he’s permanently a indoor cat now. He’s loving his new life.

Happened to us as well. We had neighbors who threw their indoor cat out for some ridiculous reason & she started coming to our home where would always feed & love her. Eventually we went over & asked if they minded if we took her in. They said sure. Her name was Kiki & she lived with us until she sadly passed at the ripe old age of a whopping 23! She was well loved & we miss her dearly.
