Well if she was trying to avoid it then she wouldn’t have answered saying she had cancer. She would just say she was good or saying she hasn’t been working or just lied and said she was working. But instead of she did mention cancer. She was clearly giving hints something was off way before mentioning she said it.

I think that at the end where nobody applauded it was because they in their mind are just blown away that a woman with cancer in various parts of her body had the courage to be on stage and sharing with the world her song. Jane, it was obvious to me that you pretty much knew that your time was running out & singing for so many people was WAY out of your comfort zone. THANK YOU for fighting such a beautiful song and your voice was truly angelic. When I'm having a difficult day, I step back for about 10 minutes, put my headphones on & listen to this song.
