Woodturning a Colored Pencil and Epoxy Bowl

Once I got my lathe I had to turn some epoxy and this is my first attempt in turning a bowl out of colored pencil and deep pour epoxy. The blank was made from left over pencils from the map table and it gave me a chance to practice some woodturning. Think it turned out fun, and now I can move on to turning larger things.

Now this is where I get really excited , I have a Myford 7wood lathe , my pride and joy I paid just over £10000 $12,094.40 in US dollars, in todays money. Other than my home and my car , the most expensive toy I’ve purchased for just me. I simply love finishing work coming home and spending a few hours on a project . The man who taught me was very famous in wood turning circles here in the UK Mr Reg Sherwin , if it wasn’t for turning I’d of had a heart attack and died from the amount of stress I was under . I like watching you glide through your piece with ease ,you’ve clearly got the picture in your mind of how your project is going to turn out . Obviously a great craftsman. Thankyou for uploading .

It’s just a way to post some quick projects I do that typically wouldent make it to YT. The long videos take a really long time to produces and I’m trying a few new things. Regular videos will still be a normal thing but I figured this might be cool too. Sorry brother
