During the last four years in Ukraine Rotary and its partners carry out a series of measures to increase the level of immunization of the population in order to protect children and adults from poliomyelitis and other managed diseases. However, the level of coverage of preventive vaccinations in Ukraine is still dangerously low.
As part of the project, Rotary Clubs and Partners held about 500 events covering 12 regions of Ukraine. Several thousand adults and children took part in measures to increase the level of immunization of the population of Ukraine in 2018-2019. These are parents, doctors, families expecting a child, medical students, schoolchildren.
As long as there is at least one case of polio left in the world, humanity must continue to fight against the disease, including in Ukraine. Therefore, the daily activity of Rotary and partners in this direction continues.
