Yeah, they should've stuck with his look and not with his personality. Professor Hulk, for starters, was rushed... I would love to see a mix of the Immortal Hulk and World Breaker Hulk to see a deep dive into his trauma. I think what would be really cool is if the Hulk personna comes out once Bruce loses his shit, and a tell tale sign is that where he's standing sinks under the weight of his mass. Because in the tv series he's easily moved by a jeep, which tells me he's almost as strong as original hulk, but no where near as heavy, like the difference between a body builder and calisthenics athlete, they both can pick up heavy objects but they weigh differently. Original Hulk has the strength of the weight of his size. It's the weight that stops things like jeeps, helicopters, and tanks in their tracks. What would be even more kickass is when the Hulk personna takes over, his personality is in power, his weight returns and he retains the mental genius of the professor, so his fighting technique and strategies improve exponentially. That way he's an angry, heavy, powerful, and smart fighter who craves destruction but has the intellect on how to do that. He's not a mindless rage monster but a clever rage monster. The difference would be an Infinity War Hulk losing to Thanos vs. Post Endgame Hulk winning against Thanos.

So, the MCU is just doing its own version of Eddie Murphy’s “The Nutty Professor.” Pretty soon, we’ll have Grandma Hulk, Uncle Lenny Hulk, and Papa Hulk. Can’t wait for the dinner farting scene.
