Mother cat doesn't let us to touch her poor kittens because she already lost her kittens!

Offering food to the mother cat is excellent approach, she is probably afraid to leave the kitten while searching for food. The emotional centers in a cats brain is the same as humans and she was devastated at the loss of 2 of her kittens, no wonder she was angry.

This was an interesting video of the mother cat's strong protection of her kittens, quite remarkable actually! Thank God you rescued her and her 2 remaining kittens! When raising your hand over the top to pet her she is seeing you as a threat. Too approach a cat you present your hand with your fingers out of the way allowing her to sniff you, then caress her cheek and she will allow you to touch her head. Street dogs and Tom cats will attach the mother and take her kittens for food.

I think the mother was probably tired trying to protect her kittens on the street. Hopefully she will calm down when she's had a rest and realises her kittens are no longer in any danger. How about calling the mother Chloe and the kittens Milo and Mila (if male and female)?
