I feel like you just canceled out all the weight savings of the CFR model.

IDK about you but ~20-30g of material to protect it from getting a scratch will ultimately give me more power to ride more confidently. I've had countless expensive bikes and the moment they get scratched, I can't shake that feeling of imperfection off and think about it from time to time during a ride let alone a normal day at home. I'm a weight weenie so I wouldn't have wrapped the whole bike, I usually only wrap the EXPOSED sides of forks, chainstay + rear axle surrounding, and downtube. Exposed = half the weight. Less parts = half of the half. That's like

Is it only water or is something added?
@BenSuzi19804 місяці тому
@@WhatTheFlipOfficial more like 400-500g^^

@@BenSuzi1980 LOL!? I wrapped an entire Porsche Cayenne and it weighed 1400g including door jams. The amount of wrap needed for high contact areas as I mentioned is less than a single door, maybe half of a door. Quick math: 1400g/2 = 700g for half the car incl trunk and hood. 700/4 = 175g for quarter of the car. We need another quarter of that AT MOST = ~44g

Nice work! I did this with my bike too. For those of you hating on this, I hope you enjoy spending 12K on a new bike every few years. Mine is 4 years old and looks like it’s straight out of the store.

This is ridicoulus!!!!! Just ride the bike. The bike will be outdated in a few years anyways.
