TTY I think the best ever in history of women singles. Seen some great players but TTY is a different breed altogether. What a class act. Her game is so entertaining to watch. Court movement..deception..power...speed...and anticipation just awesome. She can foresee split second earlier than her opponents and is ready for the placement in the most difficult zone of court. She will be the future legend and join the honors club of Badminton...✌🏼👌🏼

I felt sorry for Akane. Instead of providing her some tactic notes like Tzu Ying's coach did during the game break, her coaches provided her something like "it is final. Give it all you've got!'. That I believe had turned into pressure to Akane. The two coaches showed disappointment when she did not win the match point (see 26:04). On the other hand, when Tzu Ying made a simple mistake, her coach just showed her "It's ok" (at 38:30).

I think no woman has ever played better than Tai Tzu Ying at the moment. Sublime performance. Also Akane was really really good, just tiring out a little quicker because of TTY:s great shot selection. Also both very humble persons, great sportmanship between them.

Congrats Tai, superb performance and amazing skills. Personally I think they could/should have interviewed Akane ..she had a fantastic tournament as well. Just cuz she lost this match against the best player in the world takes nothing away from her accomplishments. She has been very consistent in all the tournaments she entered this year.

Love Tai and proud of her as Taiwanese. I wonder how she would perform if she plays with male players, Such as Lin Dan, or in doubles. Male singles are more aggressive, and the smashes are much powerful than female's, and for doubles, it's faster pace than singles, so i am curious about that... but she plays really differently. I remember when she was on the talk show in Taiwan, she said that her coach didn't like how she played cause it's not really suitable for the basic training method. She used to play with lots of amateur elders when she was young, cause her father took her there, that's why she learned very tricky shots due to playing with them as she said. Congrats for her Win again .

小戴實力依然當世第一，即使奧運決賽輸球，對岸網友依然認為他的實力在陳雨菲之上，這場決賽完全敗給自已求勝心切，殺球出界、遠吊出界白白送給對手6分以上，最後雖然追到差3分也無法彌補自身失誤過多，等於把金牌送給專心打防守球的陳雨菲，以「不失誤，就能贏」的高明戰略勝出，老實講「小戴自已都不能原諒自已」否則不會淚崩，但就這是充滿挫折的人生，只要告訴自已依然擁有「世界第一」的身手，調整心態，重新出發!下一場大賽再拿回來吧!

THE FACT THAT TTY LOOKING SO STUNNING WITH DAT HAIR SJDJDWJWHHEJSJSA SHE REALLY WON MY HEART

I think the major weakness of Yamaguchi (also Okuhara) is her backhand at the baseline. Many times when the shuttle is at her backhand position, she runs the extra distance or bends her body unnaturally to hit it with her forehand. It costs extra energy and she is prone to spine injury, I wonder why she has not trained her backhand all these years.

跟戴打球最可怕的是體力的消耗，我看除了辛度那個長手長腳的比較沒有消耗體力以外，其他的真的都是力盡而。。。敗。

TTY know so well how to play badminton. she manages optimally her power and tactics to gain each points.

I wonder how TTY would fair against former champions; Zhang Ning, Xie XingFang or Wang Yihan? - I think even in their prime TTY would still win as she has more variation and her game has moved on with the times.

Well played both, superb attacking by Yamaguchi but ultimately had to bow down to Tai Zu Ying's accurate net drops and her defence. Great sportsmanship and humble, unlike the annoying screaming of Marin/Sindhu (of course both are terrific players)

教練把小戴拉得很好，一直交待她不要只顧著殺球，要打破對方的節奏，打過場的球要嘛要高，要嘛要平，聽起來好像沒什麼絶招，但是意味著小戴只要把基本功顧好，以她的能力就可以過關了！也代表著教練對小戴的信任，這種長期培養出的默契也是對決時的武器吧！ 反觀山口茜在第一局21分沒拿下反被小戴打成20平，她的士氣好一下全洩掉了，教練和她說話，她只顧著擦汗，視線完全沒對著教練，很不在狀況中，果然第二局戰力大幅下降，拚勁全失，這應該也是被小戴的氣勢壓倒了吧！小戴贏得漂亮！
