I was born in 1971 and was an avid gamer and home computer user from a young age. When I compare Manic Miner to todays graphics - I feel like I was born in 1921 and I'm comparing a horse and cart to a supercar. Yep, I feel old. Progress is amazing.

@@LeedsunitedfanRyan this really doesnt matter tho because games dont have to look good to be good the state video game graphics(modern AAA games 2019+) are in right now are at a place where i would definetly not mind if the graphics don't get a significant boost and hope from now on the focus on gameplay > graphics significantly because there is not need to upgrade for the next few years maybe even almost a decade ill give an example with the switch which is weaker than the xobox one and ps4 but is still a banger of a console and has absolutely amazing games and in my opinion have the strongest exclusive titles and nintendo has now outsold the xbox by a large margin and is close to ps4 sales even though the playstation was a current gen console for a much longer time which shows gamers are sort of content with the level of graphics the switch gives because of the quality of the games themselves

Glad that Microsoft recognized the error in how they handled the XBOX One lifecycle in terms of games, and has been working hard to rectify it, and from what I could tell watching the XBOX conference and actually being excited by what I was watching, it has paid dividends. I hate the "who won" debacle that happens every E3 and every console generation since I am a lover of games, not of platform, so I hope people will just take XBOX's conference and Playstation's conference and be like "awesome, we're getting a ton of amazing looking games" Will say that Square Enix did NOT excite me whatsoever this year lmao, pretty much the only conference that I legitimately felt bored while watching.

I personally think games whenever possible should be available on every platform I've always bought xbox because I love halo and gears which were always exclusives and when Microsoft bought Bethesda I told everyone that asked that I hope they don't make the games exclusive now

And besides, what's stopping the car from getting dirty from all sides a bit? Just driving fast through a puddle on a rainy day can get your car dirty, not to mention the ammount of dirt and mud these cars went through.

@@earthboundfan5484 Battlefield 1 was nice, but not a 'real' Battlefield for me and many Battlefield-hardcore-fans. What I meant with a real Battlefield is exactly what you see in the trailer and also Battlefield 3 & 4. Full scale war, with crazy stuff happening like the pilot jumping out and shooting an rpg at another jet is what makes this game a real Battlefield.

It was decent. Been with Xbox for most of my life and I’m not excited with Xbox wanting to be the netflix of gaming by releasing tons of games. It’s always quality over quantity, but the vast majority of gamers complained that Xbox has no exclusives so now Xbox is pulling the big guns - however, most games presented didn’t look appealing imo. Im only holding out hope that I can find hidden gems in game pass like I did with Deep Rock and Remnant

@@danielschmaderer I think you're missing the point, Prey was made by Arkane studios on a completely different engine. Starfield is being made on the same engine as TES and Fallout which is notoriously janky, buggy and just dated at this point. It allows for a lot of customization and a lot of interactable objects, but it's kind of shit at most other things. We'll have to wait to see actual live post-launch gameplay to know if it plays like ass or not. It's really the one franchise I'm not getting my hopes up for.

The Outer Worlds trailer felt like a dig at Bethesda's Starfield and ES6 stuff from the past (and Starfield from today too, I suppose). lol I know it's a wider commentary, but the company history came to mind when I saw the trailer and it made me chuckle.

Also, regarding Starfield: It may just be me, but it feels like it's got the herculean task of having to "prove" that it was worth making us wait on ES6. For me I don't know if a mostly realistic space exploration, base builder is going to do that for me, regardless of how good of a game it is objectively. It's just not the type of game I want from Bethesda. I'm sure others would love something like that, and I hope it ends up being something like a Mass Effect of old or something, but I like to jump to conclusions based on gut feelings from that trailer.

If Starfield cause millions more people to subscribe to game pass. And millions more to stay on game pass than mission accomplished. They went from 18 to 23 million subscribers from January to April. With all the content that's coming out this year 30 million by the end of the year is not at all unlikely. 30 million x $15 is $450 million a month. And that's just the beginning. If they keep growing team Xbox will be pulling in absurd revenue from gamepass subscribers on Xbox, PC, mobile and hell even integrated into TV's. I mean if they have enough content to have say 50 million subscribers in the next couple years they be pulling in 750 million a month just from gamepass subscribers alone. That's why it seems like gamepass will become an absolute juggernaut. And doubling total gamepass subscribers seems not only possible but inevitable.

The closing segment of the show with Phil Spencer had a lot of meat to it. He mentioned Avowed, Fable, and a few other titles in active development including the Elder Scrolls 6. They opened with Starfield, and closed with a pretty big promise of things to come. A lot of them RPGs.

I just want to say... I'm so glad I bought the Series S. I know it's the lesser of all the next gen but I am a PC gamer predominantly, I only buy the consoles for the player base because more people own consoles than PCs due to affordability... And I personally think that unless Sony pull something truly outstanding out if their asses that this generation of console gaming will go to Xbox, not just because of the exclusives but Xbox game pass is another level, so many games I never got round to playing over the years that I can suddenly play through... For a low subscription fee... This will shock a lot of people but I did play FF7/8/9 multiple times but never X/X-2... And because of gamepass I'm finally able to as it's just been added this week... 🤷🏻♂️ I'm having so much fun rn, I'm playing Batman: Arkham Knight for the first time and it's like 6 years old but probably one of my games of the year from what I've played really immersive gameplay
