Here in Malaysia I can get this phone for around $620 only for 12GB/256GB model, pretty damn cheap here 😁 and the Pro model cost around $710 for the same storage configuration, both phone are import set model since the global model will be launch next month in Malaysia

Hello from Malaysia. Good video, i am glad Ugreen products been getting the recognition they deserved. They are pretty high quality product. Our specs for Xiaomi 14 its actually a 12GB Ram version priced at RM3499 (256GB) or RM3799 (512GB).

there is a setting for the notification bar if you don't want the split type of setting you can have it the old way you swipe down and you get both the notifications and the shortcuts in one swipe

The idea of the device is nice. But camera shake is huge. And switching from regular to zoom shifts the colors greatly. Its like to different manufactures of the camera model. And no color and exposure matching in software.

HI, Ben, could you please help me out in deciding between Xiaomi 13pro or Xiaomi 14, i'm stuck in between. Considering the only point of pure photo quality and sensor size, i was prefering the 13pro 1". But 14 got my mind changed, with new chipset and more better dynamic ranges, the only downside being the "Sensor" which i didn't expect Xiaomi would be doing. And its a bit smaller. But X13pro is a bit costlier(dont know why) here than X14. Could you please help me sort out. Thanks in advance.

I imported mine (16+512) from China for 500 eur and it is by quite some margin the best "compact" flagship of 2024. The cameras are extremely capable, the design is breathtaking, the battery is very serviceable and HyperOS is full of nifty features. If network connectivity is good in your country, consider importing a chinese unit, much cheaper.

Good for long-term use, but if you swap out your phone regularly, it becomes worthless for trade-ins or secondhand (in the UK) as people will not pay for a Chinese ROM.

Hi Ben. Hope you are doing well. Kindly make a video ok Chinese version smartphone there differences to global version and how to use a Chinese version smartphone in Europe or worldwide. The price of Chinese version are cheaper than global version and could be an option to buy if it works well in Europe, America and Asia.

Tbh this looks very decent, a much better entry level flagship from xiaomi and i like the size and flat display. Problem is that this phone kind of makes no sense at all in europe or the UK given the crazy price the are asking which is the same or more than the competition. At 1000 euros its is almost the price as an iphone 15 pro and more than a galaxy s24 which is just insane. The pixel 8 is also half the price. Then if you compare it to the price of importing a Oneplus 12 for example, the OP12 will cost you up to 400 euro less. Xiaomi has also decided to make importing from asia not possible for some territories as they dont support LTE band 20 on china only models.

2:23 Main camera fogs up... there are already few videos in Poland at least, people are in Barcelona and the main camera fogs up randomly LOL. Xiaomi said it happens when you walk from warm place to a colder place. Unacceptable, especially for this price, yes it cost around $1000 here.
