In my opinion one of the greatest FPS games of all time. All these years later we are still waiting for a third entry.

A small tip for the Tone titans Salvo core ultimate ability is the barrage of rockets follow wherever you AIM. So if an enemy is behind a shield you can look off to the side or up at the sky when you send the rockets into flight, then look directly at the enemy to make the rockets do a U-Turn and hit him right in the back.

Fun fact. the top 3 training course times are actually updated by real times set by real players. G.Sager is a former professional titanfall player who set that 25s time using a grenade to propel himself with the explosions and jumpkit. The devs were so impressed by his run, one of the characters in apex legends is based on him. Who was a daredevil who ran obstacle courses and likewise used a grenade to propel himself to a world record

SMGs use pistol ammo (generally), and have less range, and less punch/impact power, which is compensated for with rapid fire - quantity over quality - of sorts. My opinion here! And, in a way, you are getting your wish - you are slowing learning how to be a Pilot, but circumstances have moved you from the simulator to the real world, for a classroom. A much more serious learning environment. But you are doing very well! This game is just great - Full-on, but very survivable, different arenas, very smooth action, and excellent weapons at your disposal. A beautiful experience, and it looks as if you are taking to it very well.😉 I had the feeling that you would truly enjoy having a tough, constant companion, BT, who actually does his share of work. It's like a dream come true, finally, after all the games where buddies leave you, or fall by the wayside. One thing. If you get in a tight spot just slide and shoot. Sliding can put you in a better position quick.

one tip when doing boss fights (i.e. with kane) - when they've got yellow and black health bars, melee them in your titan for a special kill animation. only works for bosses but it's cool to watch

Unexpected video, but definitely a worthwhile experience to see Titanfall 2's campaign before the whole Apex Legends craze. Hold BT close; he's your sword and shield when small arms fail. A little fun fact: the engine for both games are actually a heavily modified branch of the Source Engine, same one you played Black Mesa on. You can't quite see the similarity visually, but all the coding, file organization, hinting, and subtitles are there.

1:01:47 fun fact, in titan fall 1, while on a titan if you get closer to a ememy npc in multiplayer (as the game didn't had single player, the campaing was only aviable in multiplayer xd) the enemy soldier npc would break down, snap and similar if they don't have any means to effective to fight you and are alone, playing different animactions, they would do the animation for a while and eventually would keep firing at you, this is easily miss during combat with other players xd

Oh how I love this game so much. My son had me play this, so I have a lot of attachment to it, the same way I fell in love with Bloodborne after my daughter had me play it. I don’t play too often anymore, but I absolutely love this game, and I’m so happy you’re playing it. Reminds me so much of older, and much better, COD campaigns in spirit.

1:31:12 you might have seen already but depending what angle you enter the titan it plays a different animation and has some variables, it makes it flexible during combat both singleplayer and multiplayer so you don't waste time going around the titan to be on the front to enter it if you happen to be behind xd Infact i think you don't even nees to look at your titant, just being near its enough to enter the titan xd

5:29 yep, that jump height its due of the multiplayer gameplay, that movement its the key, wich when jumping you can reach walls to wall run easier and also using the grappint hook wich is multiplayer exclusive for player agility when fighting other players or titans Wich if you slow, you dead, as simple as that, wich the campaing shows that being quick in movement its key to survive xd

Not a huge fan of first-person-shooters - but I LOVED this game! I only played the solo campaign, but I played it many times. Nothing beats being a giant robot and punching other giant robots in the face with a cannon! Have fun, and keep an eye out for the helmets!

I always recommend this game to people for the campaign. Multiplayer is great but they put together one heck of a campaign that I truly enjoy. It’s even better if you play Apex Legends and play this campaign for the first time(all the weapons are very familiar). It’s also even more surprising how good it is despite titanfall 1 not even having a campaign at all

As a tip with the tone titan the you need 3 pings on an enemy to lock on for the tracking rockets. The sonar gives you a ping simply by using it around them and each time you get a successful shot on a titan you gain an additional ping. In summary the combat loop for the Tone titan is: 3 hits, use rockets, 3 hits, use rockets, simple rinse and repeat.

Don’t know if you know yet but multiplayer does have a PVE mode which might be more fun and easier to not get killed every second.
