Great always was confused why there was desktop mode in developer's settings

So the glasses have to be tethered to the beam and the beam needs to be tethered to a device that's not castable so can you use a wireless HDMI with the beam that might be a good video

Very nice! I was already thinking that I cannot use the Xreal Air 2 Pro with my Sony 10 IV, because that has no video output via USB-C. I hope to receive the Air 2 Pro & Beam soon, preordered them a few weeks ago.

Have you figured out a way to charge the beam while using it? If yes, can you make a video on it? Ideal setup would be to charge the beam and the input device at the same time but I'm happy if I can just charge the beam for now.

I love this video and have just one question. If I am casting to the XBeam with something like UKposts, can I close my phone? This way I can find what I want to watch and once its playing, close the phone screen and chill with a movie. If anyone has an answer please let me know. That's pretty awesome. I'll wait until I can get virtual desktop like features from a mobile, like they have with Mac's right now. Also the idea of the Beam is really irritating, I don't want another bulky item to carry around. Unless someone can enlighten me on why the Beam is required for is your mobile supports Alt Display mode. A pre-requisite is the feature where the screen stay's in the exact same place.

2 question: 1. Can I play UKposts or any video from iPhone? 2. Is this screen really looking big and close to your eyes? About 15 years ago I try Sony glasses and it was bad experience. Screen looks small and like it was 20 meters from you

I have a ulefone successfully cast to glasses through the beam but it seems after the update it won't connect or maybe there's something wrong with the beam anybody else having this problem? Thanks for the info

Your voice sounds more distant compared to your last video about the Xreal Beam. I can still hear you clearly but the volume on my S23 Ultra is maxed out.

Desktop Mode on MOST Android if not ANY? REALLY?! Surely I am missing more than something. please tell me what it is. Did you reearch and find these niche Android phones or just happen to have it? BC even though some just do, the XPs arent polished enough and also bc ive been trying to set up the cheapest possible rig for ANDROID HIDDEN DESKTOP MODE for a few years with you name it: Casting to Android Stick/morroring/Customizing ROM/Trying new phones (from REDMI 2 Prime upto SD680 SoC Budgets)/USB C 2.0 to HDMI cable/Emulation APPS: Taskbar/Sentio/Laptop DOCK: NEXDock/etc from top of my head But Finally ended up buying a Device with DEX support. OnePlus n LG had it but didnt see them developing post Android 11 if i rem right. So i think I just wanna confirm if I Failed Hard in testing these . atleast its the sense i get after watching your video
