Highlights from the women's -63kg judo event at the London 2012 Olympics as China's Lili Xu takes on Slovenia's Urska Zolnir for the gold medal.
Judo made its very first appearance at the Olympic Games in 1964 in Tokyo. However, it was not included in the Olympic programme in 1968 in Mexico City, but returned, never to leave again, at the 1972 Games in Munich. As for women's judo, it was added to the Games in 1992 in Barcelona.
Men and women now compete in seven weight categories. There was originally a men's category open to all weights, but this event was withdrawn after the 1984 Games in Los Angeles.

Commentators are comentating a clip which is out of sync, audio is 5 sec ahead. How is that possible?

im a starting judoka and i have a question, why when the referee shout mate they keep fighting? i thought one was supose to stop immediately?

The audio from the mats is out of sync, but the audio of the commentary is in sync. They actually are stopping when the ref shouts mate. Look at his lips. Specifically 6:05 you hear mate, then they step off the yellow, then if you watch the ref you see his lips move then they stop. Or the horn at the end of the fight you can hear go off when there are 5 seconds on the clock

I know I should be focusing on my country's girl winning but damn lol I kept starring at those hot asian guys in the background. I'm the biggest kpop trash to ever live lol
