I hope you are getting better now. Life will always be full of ups and downs and that's the truth. It can always get better but can also get worse it just matters that you find a way to deal with it. Find something that is your own thing and makes you feel happy whether that's singing, making friends, shopping, dancing, walking, playing instruments ect. I personally find that when I'm really bad song writing is the best thing. And you can even go back and change lyrics, if you want, when you are feeling better. Sometimes the songs come out amazing. There is always a way out of a loophole but if you fall back in you just need to hold on and find another way out. Never give up and find yourself stuck. Be kind to yourself ❤️

Considering the fact that Jimmy had said "I put the blade down" I'd assume, X is saying "I wanna grow old", rather than letting himself fall into the same darkness/depression that he was in. I could be wrong, but if he's saying "Don't wanna grow old", than it would really butcher the purpose of the artwork (In my eyes). But then again - stating, "Don't wanna grow old" could also mean he doesn't want to let go of his past self/childhood. I'm not completely certain, maybe its more of a perspective thing. Either way this has become one of my favorite pieces by X. It's absolutely beautiful. He will always be in my memories.
