薬師堂のマキはさいたま市の指定天然記念物にもなっている高さ17メートルの大きな木。
事件や事故の話は特に存在しないが心霊スポットとして知られている。
その理由としては周囲の空気が重く、まるでこの世とは違う世界かのような不気味さを感じるからかもしれない。
もともとは集落があって人が住んでいたという歴史も持っている。
心霊現象としては、撮影中のカメラの映像が停止したまま録画がされていたり、謎の人影が覗き込むようにこちらを見ている霊のようなものが目撃されている。
付近には八幡社の鳥居と祠もありかなり雰囲気がある場所。
さらにUKpostsの動画を見ると謎のラジオが聞こえる、迫ってくるなどの現象も起きている。
なぜこのような怪奇現象が起きているのか真相は定かではないが心霊的な原因があるのかもしれない。
ただ薬師堂のマキは所有者がしっかりと管理していて、周辺には畑や田んぼもあるので肝試し気分で行くべき場所ではない。
近くには秋ヶ瀬公園というこれもまた有名な心霊スポットがある。
