Generally It’s only until you get to above 40 meters (130 Feet) that they would use High Tensile Steel, otherwise Marine Aluminum alloys on the actual Hull. On a yacht with a steel hull you would be paying through the nose because unlike military craft you will be paying through the nose for prep work before you could repair a steel hull. ( If you want it to look pretty 😍 ) Either way, it’s not going to be cheap. But if you have the monies for. Yacht like this you know it will co e with unexpected cost. On cue you own a yacht over 90 feet you have to put in your operation budget for these kinds of accidents. If you cannot afford those cost, you would not be able to afford the running cost.
