Loma has peaked. Lopez was horrible against Nakatani--his own words. Lopez is going to lose. He's got a great career ahead of him, Loma has only aa few fights left. Loma wins this. Easy.

I've read that Lopez rehydrates up to 145, 150 lbs the day of the fight. Does Loma rehydrate up to anything close to that? It it's a 10 lb difference between the two, I can see Lopez - 1 inch taller and 3 inch reach advantage - being almost like a Linares.

Wasee! Yes. Funny indeed. CompuBox messed up in that fight and gave Teofimo about 30 extra punches he didn’t land. I broke it down in slomo and Commey was piecing Lopez up until he timed Commey. I believe Lopez is going to have shoddy defense again. He likes to take/bait a punch to land a punch because he really doesn’t think anyone can hurt him (except with Commey), that he’s just too big and strong. We will see

@@yoshaq3077 Yeah! Definitely. Longitudinal movement is something Teofimo is used to because that's how almost everyone has fought him. He is good at getting that lead foot dominance and he does do some veteran (dirty) tricks, like stepping on the guys foot so he can't move. I saw him do that a lot against that southpaw he fought. But Loma's just different. Too skilled, too fast, and too much experience to allow that to happen. I don't see how Lopez will deal with Loma's quick lateral movement. Teo's always flatfooted, always trying to land that knockout blow. He also has a tendency to push off with his heal instead of the balls of his feet, so his weight will be mostly on his back leg, out of balance to move laterally, unless he wants to pivot, but we saw how that worked for Rigo. Lopez won't be able to prevent Loma from T-Squaring him. I think that we'll see the Loma from 130 in this fight, where he could get those angles that nullify his opponents offense, exposes their center line and allow Loma to throw four-piece plus combos.
