I'll never forget living in Rabat during Ramadan as a white Canadian. Watching 3 million people quit smoking, drinking coffee and eating on the same morning was unlike anything I've ever experienced before or since. I often tell people to take the Muslim community very seriously as unlike Christians, they actually believe in their God and are willing to fight and die for it.
