In episode 1 of 5, we lay the foundation for Yocto Project customization. We’ll go through the process of creating a custom layer and custom machine file in that layer. Taking it step by step, starting with building an image from source using our unmodified BSP, and running that on our PICO-IMX8M-MINI. Then we will create a layer to house the additional custom metadata including a custom machine configuration file, then build a new image for our custom machine, and run that on the board.
