1) I could feel your pain with those bridges and the canal. Roll on the anarchy mod! 2) Yep, roundabout! Perhaps something more custom given the limitations of the ingame ones. I'm impressed by the park design! All in all, another good job. Have a fab weekend!

Thanks Neal! Have an awesome weekend too. I think a custom round-a-bout could be good there. Maybe even place a few shops on the edges etc.

Really like the look of that canal bridge area! It's a shame about not getting ship access through there. That bug where the rail lines and ship lanes come into conflict is unfortunately giving a lot of people issues. Overcharged Egg had the same challenge in his build. Could always sink the rail line via tunnel and go under it for now until CO changes that. Although, that would likely create a bunch of new challenges / rework. 😉 Any chance of doing a brief flyover or still shot of that gardens at the top of the next episode so we can see the completed product? As a vanilla builder, I definitely appreciated watching you place every plant and tree by hand. Nice work!

Placing trees by hand isn't to awful. Kind of mind numbing but relaxing in it's own way. Yes I can probably start next episode with a view of the gardens. I had a lot of fun building them. I didn't realize it was the lines causing the conflict. I think off camera I had tried tunneling but was running into the same issue and that may be due to how deep I made that canal. On an optimistic note, if it is a conflict CO has intentions of fixing, then once it's fixed we can easily re-add the ship line in the future.

@@Na_MaPlays Yeah, I experimented a fair amount with ocean floor depth in the lead up to my underwater tunnel episode. If my memory serves, I think you need 12 contour lines of water depth minimum so that ship lanes still function properly. . . I think. 🤔😄

I am too! I am so curious to see how they incorporate the assets and so far it looks like a zoning type. I wonder if they will allow us then to have beachside properties for other architectural styles when we get that content creator update (the one where they add assets from china, france, east europe, etc) I am thinking about sprinkling in some of those assets into our current build. What are your thoughts on that?

@@Na_MaPlays Definitely you should! I think it will add a good layer of story and history to the city to have evolving styles. One thing I miss from old SimCity 3000/SC4 is the progress of time and technology, so this kind of comes close to that 😊

That is a good point and I like that too. We could trade out some of the properties in Pinecrest Junction and add new settlements to the island that was just formed with the canal!
