@@markmorris7123 they certainly will in America DAZN etc. But I can't see Sky having that. DAZN is £7.99 a month and a ppv on Sky is 24.99. If DAZN are doing ppv fights at 20 odd quid then that's not going to drive subscribers. Its a one off fee. I think he had expected them to jack it in Hearn, but DAZN is never going to be as big here. Honestly.. unless I come on the Internet and search for it, I have no idea who is fighting on DAZN. Sky can pull out the casuals. If he stays with matchroom he will have a Canelo type deal where he fights where he likes I'd have thought. Hearn seems to be the issue, upset a lot of people and is struggling to make fights big time. I'm sure top rank and PBC will make fights with Sky fighters just to spite him.

@@GuinessOriginal I cannot see the chess game reaching the end of the opening phase to be honest, and the opponents would play these few turns in extreme stress condition. The more I think of it, the more I would love to see it. This idea fascinates me... and terrorizes me at the same time.

Take too long making your moves and you could be running out of time by round 6 or 7, and if you run out of time you lose, so the chess game is likely to progress reasonably quickly

@@Tussinette just checked the rules, it's 6 x 3 minute rounds of chess with 5 x 3 minute rounds of boxing in between, and each player gets 9 minutes on the chess clock to make their moves. If there's no result in the boxing or chess by the 11th round it goes to a final round of boxing, if there's no result at the end of the final round then it goes to points. If the ref sees that a player is stalling for time on the chess board he gets a warning and 10 seconds to make a move, if he doesn't he's disqualified and forfeits the match

@@JamesJuice321 Agree, Chess actually requires studying and learning, not just chess openings but actual tactics such as skewers, pins, forks, discovered attacks, bank rank mate patterns, pawn structure.. Open games VS closed games. End game theory. Common mating patterns with king and queen, king and rook, etc. Also the value of the pieces relative to a single pawn. Queens worth 9 pawns, rooks worth 5, knights and bishops worth three pawns etc..
