"You think its all over, Get up and try again" About December 2023, I struggled with suicide and self harm. Everything was blurry to me and I was creating fake versions of people in my mind. I was talking down on myself like crazy, all because I was making other peoples problems my problem and putting so much stress on myself. I was tired of crying and tired of everything. I ghosted my friends, and never told my parents. But I got through it, currently its February 21st. I hope you know that means there's a hope for everyone. I'm trying my best to survive in this new world, but everything will turn out just fine. Love you all.💕💕

I used to listen to this song every single day in the summer of 2022. Vacations was my all time favorite band and I listened to it every day, that was a horrible time in my life. I was insanely depressed and wildly $u!c!dal, but I still remember that time with such nostalgia. I had a best friend at that time, I texted him all day every day and eventually when the school year started again, we lost contact. Every time this song comes on, the nostalgia wave hits me so hard I can’t do anything but sit in existential crisis or cry. It was a terrible time for my mental health, but still my favorite time in life. I miss it more than anything, and this song brings me back every time.

My interpretation of this song is that when you are young you must live, although you know that time passes, enjoy your youth because you only live once, and if it is sad to grow up, see that the ones you love most are gone, but don't give up when you are young is when it is time to enjoy life, be happy, be positive and enjoy your youth to the fullest. Just be happy, do what you like the most, don't let time delay you, don't feel sad because you're growing up, just keep going, you still have a lot of life ahead of you and you must be strong for the most difficult moments. Enjoy your youth.

When I was 13 years old, I was deeply insecure about myself and deeply in love with a girl that didn't even care about me in the slightest, it truly was an extremely tough point of my life. Although I wouldn't describe myself as "depressed", I went through a year and a half of feeling mostly sadness. I regret that time a lot because it was basically the final point of my childhood that I could really enjoy until I turned into a teenager and had to deal with many more responsibilities and stresses. This song was basically the soundtrack of that time in my life, and although it brings me painful memories whenever I listen to it, deep down I absolutely love it. There was something about that eternal feeling of sadness that gave me a weird sense of comfort.

This song reminds me of a day of April not too long ago when I was madly in love with a girl who I had known for more than 3 years but I never had caught feelings for until January of the same year. Around that time we had stopped talking because she suspected I had feelings for her and I wasn't in my best mood. That day I had a high school trip to an amusement park which was closed and only opened for us to do some activities. Not just that but because of an exam we had the following day we were only 6 students and 2 teachers. On our way there this song started playing on my phone and it made me feel so many emotions that it stayed in my head the rest of the trip, it made so much sense. In the end it was a really fun and chill trip. There was 0 negativity and it will stay forever in my mind but still I couldn't stop thinking how much I would have liked her to be there with me during that quite and lovely day. This song may change its meaning but it won't lose its feelings. I know I'm late and this comment will probably get lost in the comment section but I couldn't resist to do it at least once, at least I will be able to read it again.

My friend died of cancer and at the same time my parents were fighting and broke up I truly have mixed emotions about them but I know for a fact that I don’t love them it hurts and all I’ve done in life is to make people happy and make them smile but this is how I’m rewarded by pain and suffering that I hide from my friends and family so they don’t worry about me and don’t question me about it and it builds up and I finally start cracking and start to show a bit of how I feel about this situation sometimes I wonder if I should continue in life with all of this around me

I listened to this song a lot when I was traveling around Europe all by myself. It makes me feel that summer break laziness and how I would spend lots of time by myself outside. It‘s a cozy feeling in my stomach but it can become quite unsettling if it‘s there for too long. So I listen to it every now and then to feel that positive nostalgia, but that’s it. Too much nostalgia can tangle your perception of your current life. Live in the moment and enjoy it, guys!

This song always brings out that feeling of blaming yourself, you caused this, or you are the reason that this or that person was hurt. But it's only when you truly realize how much of a terrible person you are or were can you improve. The song also makes me think of every opportunity that goes by, that I just didn't grab. Not because it was too difficult to reach but because I became complacent, the worst crime. And the lyrics are like a realization of the fact that I should be other places, happier places, better places. Not just for myself but for others as well, but these are all mistakes we make growing up, all mistakes we make young. At least I hope because if you don't ever realize you're a failure and can do better then you'll be complacent your whole life.

Whenever I feel like I made a huge mistake or accidentally broke down or even got mad,listening to this song just calms me down. It's like the song is telling me that it's okay,everything will be fine.Yes you messed up,but it doesn't mean that it's the end of the world or anything. At the end of the day,it's just one bad day,not one *bad life* It hits even harder when I start crying yet feel myself feeling gradually better as the song starts to end. This song reminds me of when I met my first best friend at an my old elementary school, her name was Lyric, we were inseparable for a few months. She eventually found other friends and kinda left me there, i got a Snapchat notification and it was her telling me to leave her alone. I stared at the message for a minute as I slowly started to tear up. I wanted us to be friends forever, every time I saw her I started to break down. I bought us matching necklaces during our friendship, every night I would stare at mine and just sit there in sadness. I know she would never touch hers again. It was years ago and I still get teary when I think about how fun it was while it lasted. But, all good things must come to an end

I'm in a very bad situation right now, school exams, my new job where I work for money, family and other problems are all on me right now. I'm finishing school now, and I'm taking my steps into the new "life", and it's very difficult. I don't even know what to do and how to do it. My only wish is to be a software developer or graphic designer in Germany. I have now started to learn German. I'm going to save up and buy a computer to learn graphic design and software. I am writing this message on May 30, 2022. I wish to move to Germany after 4-5 years. This song helps me remember the happiest moments of my life with my family, even if I am happy, even if I am a child, teenager, adult. This question will always be in my head. One day, I will be able to have my family again. That day of the tragedy, I could never forget it. everything up to my life to spend a little more time with them and tell them how much I love them but even if it is only a moment that moment will be more than enough to be with them this is the question I always ask myself one day will there be again to my family?

Maturing is realizing that this song wasn't what made me sad and it was just the peaceful and free feeling it gave me. I've never been free or peaceful. The way i grew up i learned that being ignored was the best way to not get hurt. When you don't know peace you don't like it. The lines "another day goes by. And where was i? Another day in life of the people who hurt you goes by and you weren't there to make them feel better about themselves by beating you down. You've moved on. "Didn't think id still be here" You thought that you were stuck where you were but you managed to clear your head and worked up the courage to stand up for what you wanted. "What's the use? Im not talking sense" you realized that if they wanted to listen they already would've and telling them how you feel and trying to convince them to acknowledge that they're in the wrong is just a fool's errand. If they loved you then you would know. If they love you then you wouldn't have convince them that they should. "All things come to pass with time but i want everything now to be all mine" Moving on was the best option you have more now and you dont want to lose it like how you let the things you loved then be taken by the toxic people in your life. Your happiness is yours and it will stay that way. Just because you think something is sad doesn't mean it is. Maybe you just aren't ready for it to be happy.
