As a person who has contemplated 'going' for literally decades, this resonates with me more than you can imagine. I've come up with excuses and justifications for not taking the leap for so long. I thought I was avoiding the big bad monster which is the 'unknown'. I convinced myself that catastrophe was waiting for me if I dared to disrupt this life that was never really fulfilling. I watched others live the life I've dreamed of and always felt that I belonged in that club. I just never trusted that the bridge to take me there was sturdy enough. Now that so many years have past and I have a chance to reflect on my life, I realize that the monster wasn't the unknown, it was me. No other human being has discouraged me from realizing my dreams more than I have. I'm deciding now to accept the fact that the sturdy bridge may never present itself in front of me, and that's ok. I just need to know once and for all what's on the other side. Thank you for the words....they have been and will be my soundtrack on this journey. Wish me luck.

Eddie, thank you so much for sharing your words of motivation and encouragement. I have a suicidal daughter who I had when I was still in high school. Her and I grew up like sisters. There’s been a lot of self sabotaging and self destruction on social media by her and it’s been killing me because i really want her path to be the one Ive taken and am still on to always improve and grow and stretch myself. I send her these videos and other videos waiting for the day she falls on her knees and prays and realized I did all I did as a young mom and sacrificed all I had so that she can be a strong powerful individual. My wife left me after 8 years. We have a 2 year old and a 6 year old. It’s been 6 months since she left. Now she is messaging me and telling me her issues and blaming me for everything that happened and even for her cheating. Every time when I say to myself I’m going to get better she’ll send me a text out of nowhere and it seems like all my progress goes away. It’s so hard I don’t want to be her emotional punching bag anymore. The only reason why I haven’t changed my number is bc of our girls.
