Sure the song makes not much sense, but I can say the video sends out a powerful message to certain people. For those who don't understand, He refers to 2001-2003 a lot and relates it to the name sad boys because it was a very emotional time filled with nostalgia and great memories that can't be brought back the same way as it was back then. The song is about nostalgia and how fast time has changed. I love watching this video because I feel it brings me back to the "good 'ol days." In my opinion, I think the song is titled "Hurt" because it makes people, including me, hurt on the inside, nostalgia is a very sad and depressing feeling.. Also relevant to "suicideyear" beats.
