See the Matterhorn: One of the most recognizable mountains in the world, the Matterhorn is even more stunning in person. You can glimpse the iconic mountain from many places in Zermatt, but some of the best views are from Gornergrat, Rothorn, and Schwarzsee.
Ride the Gornergrat Railway: The Gornergrat Railway is a cogwheel train that takes you up to Gornergrat, the highest point in Europe accessible by train. The views from the top are incredible.
Go Skiing or Snowboarding: Zermatt is a world-renowned ski resort with slopes to suit all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The skiing season in Zermatt is one of the longest in Europe, from early November to late April.
