This level is made originally in the spirit of a sequel to Zodiac. I think it turned out pretty nicely, though similarly to Zodiac it does have its decorational ups and downs. The song fits very well and definitely makes the level for me - and the gameplay seems very fun and not too annoying besides some strange orb timings sometimes.

I like it how this level managed to be glow styled like Zodiac but designed in a specific way that makes it look original despite being glow style. I think it’s due to the smaller but more detailed structures this level has over most glow levels combined with the more minimalistic style with the air deco

The only thing, that makes this level original, is the non-themed-glow style, being executed equally well through out the entire level, so it kinda looks very consistent. It's not very common for glow levels tbh. Other than that, it's just a "pretty good" level. Nothing original though.

Definitely cleaner than Zodiac, though it lacks the feel in some places imo. The part at 1:18 perfectly encapsulated what I think the level was trying to go for, it really feels like its inspired from, but better than zodiac (Juhou's part, which is already good itself)

If you’ve ever listened to the original music (In Circles - Creo) you’d notice that there was a very subtle transition at this part of the music 1:23 compared to the original (which is at 1:48) Try listening to both this level and In Circles at the same, you’ll hear what i mean. Point is, they’re making use of that song trigger in the editor and it’s just so sick how they did it

I’m glad someone noticed! In 2.1 when this level was getting made we used a custom version of the song that cut to the later part of it, anticipating that in 2.2 with a song trigger we would be able to do it without needing the custom song anymore, and sure enough we did.

@@zhwzhwpwqhz Ironically, it has the opposite effect on me. The transition fits so well in spectre that i’ve gotten used to it after watching the level so many times and now it feels really different listening to the original song, like you’re expecting the same build up that’s in Spectre but then it progresses differently. In Circles is still a banger from beginning to end tho, nothing’s changing that.

There are so many callbacks to Zodiac’s gameplay and in their appropriate places, like the slopes in Dudex’s, the spider swingcopter in Osiris’s, the wave in Pennutoh’s, and the one ship at 1:18! Fascinating!

Don’t know what I feel about this. The decoration and gameplay looks stunning but I also notice that the parts just don’t really flow well together decoration wise. One minute it’s this and then it’s that for a bit then it goes to thisv2 then back to this and then back to that. It definitely looks like a Zodiac sequel both gameplay and decoration wise though. Keep up the great work!

I think the disassociation of the parts (ex culucs and darwins being very different) makes the level even more like zodiac. For instance, samifyings part was nothing deco-wise like tmn’s. It brings back some of the original in a way and i like it

I’ve known about and waited for this level for over a year and it’s absolutely everything I could ever want. The decoration, the gameplay, all modernized but still keeping the same feeling as Zodiac. (Also Xander doesn’t want this to be the official sequel, I think he wants it to be the official remake instead)
