The problem with black people is ignorance. There is this argument used by white people when we talk about barbaric acts committed against black people. They use this argument to try to attenuate the crimes of their ancestors. An argument which, moreover, even if it were true, could not even mitigate 1% of their crimes. This argument of the blacks who sold theirs. Africa is a continent with hundreds of different peoples (and maybe even more), different cultures and histories that have nothing in common. Some peoples have experienced border conflicts or conflicts of different kinds. They fought wars and others invaded others. The mentality of one people has nothing in common with that of others. However, the racist method consists of using what a people has done, for example, to try to make it something common to all the people of this continent by using the color of their skin as a determinant. Race was a social construct and at that time these people did not think based on racial color like the colonists taught them once they invaded. So no, they did not sell theirs and many people in Africa captured prisoners of war to make them servants and soldiers. Which has absolutely nothing to compare with the cruel treatment of black slaves in the West by whites. Also in this story, no one mentions that Europeans killed and beheaded those who opposed the sale of slaves. Many African kings or queens died for trying to stop the sale of slaves and this is how it lasted so long (Especially when these kings discovered what happened to these sold prisoners). Without forgetting that the Europeans captured masses of them themselves before, during and after the sale of slaves during the invasion and colonization of Africa. So stop being fooled by this racist argument.
