in the first match the other kid reaching over should have been pinned by rolling with his arm, second match when masons leg is between the other kids he should have gotten his leg out and hipped over. also in the second match a cradle seems nice, but you don't reach over and over commit unless its there. in the third match the other kid was leaving masons head on the ground mason could have wrapped one arm around the stomach, one arm around his head like he already had his own half, and flipped over by arching his back to get a reversal, look it up if you need to but that's a life saving half defense. fourth match mason had a really good front headlock at the start, but it looks like after sinking his hips he didn't even try to get behind instead immediately going for a ankle. the only way to work on that is spending more time in the position. he also was wayyyyyy to high with that cradle, and power halves don't do anything when its just a power half and they aren't flat, if you wanna use a half while they're not flat, grab a ankle or another hold to help flip them. then at the end of the match when he was on bottom mason could have shot because he was facing him rather then dealing with everything else escaping. just friendly advice, i know even a year ago i would've needed it.
