Kinda easy for Big John to say 'Don't get careless" when it's almost meaningless (what one person considers a vulnerability isn't necessarily the case for the person defending against them, and vice versa). In other words, no one either plans or expects a weakness in their defense, till it's discovered by an opponent.

The fighters who’ve given Alex trouble are the ones who’ve mixed in the grappling well, or had a similar extensive striking background. Hill seems committed to the KO and has ring rust coming into this. Alex by KO in R2.

Gaethje has evolved as a striker. Definitely not the same fighter that fought fazziv or Johnson or Dustin 1. Its going to be a banger, one of the best on the card.

I been watching the UFC since the beginning. Probably longer than your alive. Gaethje has 4 losses, Alverez, Dustin, Khabib and Charlie Olives. Ferguson was supposed to fight Khabib and got Gaethje. I think the power Gaethje brings to the fight is gonna make the difference. Another thing John, Gaethje is not the same fighter who fought Michael Johnson and Dustin Poirier (first time they fought).

this could happen but also Holloway's pressure could break Gaethje's gas tank. Justin still has an issue of trying to match a frantic pace. Against Khabib that cost him and against Johnson it nearly did. It should be a great fight.

@@davidporter7051 Khabib dropped conor with one punch. Max wins his fights by decisions and TKOs not KOs and thats at 145. Khabib has a way more powerful chin than Max. Will see what happens on Sat.
