Nietzsche? Marcuse? Zizek? Socrates? A few of the biggest hypocrites in the history of philosophy. (Give me Marcus Aurelius any year, any month, any day of the week. Walks the talk!). Nevertheless, thank you for uploading this book.

In regards to Tim Hollands "Untold Story" This is pathetic and is very easy to refute BBC propaganda established under royal charter which operates under its agreement with the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. It is nothing more than a novelist uneducated on the subject who started by writing Gothic horror novels about vampires masquerading as an historian of Islam and interviews people with clear biases who ignore the mountain high pile of evidence available. It takes snippets out of context, and It conveniently ignores the literature of the companions of the Prophet and the children of the companions not to mention cemeteries and tombs, historical sites like the houses of the Prophets wives, the Prophets house in Medina, Dar Al-Arqam, the first Islamic school where Muhammad taught etc. Muhammad pbuh died in 632AD and the oldest rock inscription, the inscription of Zuhayr is just 12 years later in Saudi Arabia and contains a reference to the caliph ‘Umar I and shows evidence of a fully-fledged system of diacritical marks. Then there is the Qur’an remnants in the University of Birmingham dated from the LIFETIME of the Prophet pbuh likely written down by his companions. The Sanaa manuscript of the Qur’an in particular the lower text was dated to between 578 CE (44 BH) and 669 CE (49 AH) with a 95% accuracy. Again WITHIN THE LIFETIME OF THE PROPHET OR HIS COMPANIONS. Then there is the inscription south of al-Ula (near ancient Hijr) in Saudi Arabia not far north of Medina and is dated to the decades soon after the Prophet which reads "Allah, forgive Muhammad the Prophet, and join with him his wives, and, God, forgive the male and female believers, and forgive Salih."Then there is An Arabic Inscription From Cyprus, 29 AH / 650 CE just 18 years after the Prophet pbuh which has a full Surah..Qul hū Allāhu ahad Allāhu al-ṣamad lam yalid wa-lam yulad wa-lam yakun lahu kufūwan aḥad [Qur’an 112] Translation: "Say: Allah the One, the eternal the Absolute, He does not have children and was not begotten. And there is none like unto Him."Then there are coins from 60 years after the Prophet pbuh such as the Arab-Sassanian Coin Of The Kharijite Rebel Qatarī Ibn al-Fujāʾa, Bīshāpūr, 75 AH / 694-695 CE. Obverse margin: lā ḥukm illā lillāh [Qur’an 12:40, 12:67 and 6:57. Initial ini’l changed to lā] Judgement belongs to God alone. And the Aniconic Silver Coins ("Reformed Coinage"), Minted By The Umayyad Caliph ‘Abd al-Malik, From 77 AH / 696 CE. Reverse field: Allāhu aḥad Allāhu al-ṣamad lam yalid wa-lam yulad wa-lam yakun lahu kufūwan aḥad Qur’an 112. Then there are multiple rock inscriptions from around Makkah within 67 years of the Prophet pbuh. There are so many to list SEE.. www.islamic-awareness.org/history/islam/inscriptions/earlyquran.html, www.juancole.com/2020/02/prophets-wives-inscriptions.html Then of coarse there is the Grave and Tomb of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (The Sacred Chamber). In his work "Natural History," written in the 1st century CE, Pliny described a famous shrine in Arabia that was visited by numerous pilgrims. He mentioned that the sanctuary was revered by the local population and attracted people from far and wide. This shrine had no idol or representation of a deity, reinforcing its unique religious significance. Pliny's account aligns with the description of the Kaaba as a central religious sanctuary without any physical representation of a deity. The similarity between the accounts suggests the existence of a pre-Islamic shrine in Mecca, known as Macoraba or a similar name, that held significant religious importance. It is important to note that Pliny's account is not the only evidence for the pre-Islamic existence of the Kaaba. As mentioned earlier, pre-Islamic Arabian poetry, archaeological findings, and the traditions associated with the Kaaba provide further support. However, Pliny's independent and external account offers additional corroboration from a historical source outside of the Arabian Peninsula, which lends weight to the belief in the Kaaba's existence and significance before the advent of Islam. This is just a few examples showing how ignorant this documentary is. Don't waste our time with ignorant Judeo-Christian anti Islamic propaganda.

Up then ye women and discover the child in man. A play thing let woman be pure and fine like the precious stone illumined with the virtues of the world not yet come.”

@@SootyPhoenix That's sad to hear. I'm sure he had a happy and fulfilling life though.
@SootyPhoenix2 місяці тому
@@spyral00 Yeah, as far as I know the only medical issues he suffered from were a chest injury, migraines, syphilis, intestinal damage due to some medicine, joint pain, depression and insanity. He also was fine with his father dying when he was still a boy, being rejected by the woman he desired most and being relatively unknown and broke until people started to like him after his death, and feeling none of the few who liked his writing during his life understood it correctly either. I wish I got to play life on easy mode like that.

I’m gunna get a lot of hate for not liking this book. I guess it’s not so much that I didn’t like it. I think reading someone’s take on morality and philosophy is interesting. I just don’t see it as profound as others seem to. All he did was list values and moralities in a style that sounds like a King James Bible. I know the original was not in English, so that may be just the way it was translated.
