Could the large dining table have originally been a pool table that a previous owner later added a wood top to? I'm just guessing but that's what it looked like when Colson moved the arm chair at the end of the table. The wood top would account for it being an odd height because a standard dining table is 30" high and a pool height is between 29-1/4" - 31".

I love the whole Apartment, but gosh yes, I already loved the painting at first sight, and then when you pointed out that it concealed an iffy-looking sealed-up window...GENIUS, because I just thought it was just a wonderful, bold-energy painting, intentionally placed, like a joyful ghost haunting the dining room waiting to playfully ambush guests! I also especially like the way you ruched a lightweight blanket to add color and texture on the bed...not at the foot, but up a bit...I am going to borrow that placement-styling trick ❤ And YES I love the HUTCH! And the way you made it fit, like a built-in! Anyhow, sincere thanks for the tour, it is transporting and inspiring to see your lovely home.

While I was watching, something kept niggling at my mind. I finally figured it out: She sounds like she's reading from a story book rather than talking to us! Just an observation, not a criticism and a smidge spooky, haha! Well she definitely cast a spell over me in her stunning gown and home! However, could never decorate my home with paintings of women in burka's. Those glimpses of eyes look so so sad.

Way too much stuff. Nice stuff but way too much of it.
