I always wondered why you didn’t slush cast the inside of the mold that makes spheres. Put the mold on the lathe, toss in just a bit of resin that’s liquid, but cures somewhat quickly, tape the hole up, and turn the lathe on a slow speed to coat the inside of the mold. Then you could drill the epoxy sphere, pour in the goo, and cap with UV resin.

When I saw that you were gonna have to do something else with the lid, my first thought was tray lol. Whatever you decide on will be super cool regardless, we love your creativity 💛

That purple world was awesome! I haven’t seen this idea so it’s new to me! That gives me idea can you drip paint and one of those balls with the resin and then fill it up so we get kind of like a marble cat’s-eye affect? Thanks for the video.

The one where the slime fell out created a really cool crater. Cover it with a colour shifting powder and backfill with black resin. It will look like a really cool planet surface or something.

I would think that there is too much moisture in the giggly slime to allow the resin to set properly. I really like the purple pearlescent one. It does look like a planet!

Ya know, I bet if you set a layer of resin in the bottom of the sphere, then add the slime, then resin on the top half, it might work to seal.

Nice work! That was awesome even though it didn’t turn out the way you were hoping. Might have to try that again but maybe put the resin in the cup and put it to rotate on your lathe slowly to form a outer ball that you can fill with the slime and seal with more resin. Also have zero experience doing the amazing things you do so take it with a grain of salt. Keep it up. Love the channel!

Chop up the off-cuts, put the pieces and the shavings in clear resin, make s sphere, drill a hole to the center and add fairy lights for another cool lamp. ❤

Straighten the rim and put a gasket on the lid. Or not.
