Seems like the trick to winning the dark saber (while overcoming the saber resisting you problem) is to let your opponent have it and beat him with other weapons ahaha

The booster landings are great to watch, but it's interesting it's taken such large computing power to be able to do this, when Neil Armstrong did it landing on the moon using gaffer tape, a slide rule and and a hand controller.
@sebastiannolte1201
@sebastiannolte1201 13 днів тому
The lander in the Apollo mission was (a) smaller and lighter, (b) you have only 1/6 of the gravity on the moon and (c) you don't have atmosphere on the moon. That makes it much less complicated. Probably especially the "no atmosphere" part. You see these grid fins in this video? That controls that thing aerodynamicly. Maneuvering in air at high speed is very complex- maneuvering in a vacuum is very simple and predictable in comparison. And it is very weird that you mention the hand controller. Would you also say "Isn't it it interesting that it needs much computer power for a Tesla to drive autonomous from A to B, while we could use that 50 years ago with just pedals and a steering wheel?" Probably not. Neil Armstrong was a pilot, who landed the vehicle, that he was sitting in. These massive rocket boosters land entirely automatically. Of course you need computing power for that.

As someone who has watched a launch and landing in person, obviously there is no doubt in my mind that this footage is real, just like the rest of SpaceX's astounding accomplishments. It shocks me that it is still possible to be uneducated and unintelligent enough to doubt these events, despite the unending mountains of evidence. Hearing people claim that the landings are fake is discouraging, but also sometimes amusing. The people who tend to doubt these are often unintentionally hilariously funny in their stupidity., and I thank them for providing some measure of humor, though I'm sure it's the only thing they've ever contributed to society.

There were meanwhile 280 landings - the weird thing is that people don't realize that it is a regular thing.

Absolute proof that the private sector will always do things better than the government. But hey, let's do government healthcare!

If we had waited for the private sector to get into space, there would have been no Gemini missions, no Apollo missions, no Voyager missions, no Cassini, no Juno. Why? Because there would have been no profit in it.

I’m not sure why some people hated nasa. NASA accomplished its mission to send man to the moon and back. They did this from scratch and crude technology (even how to send spacecraft from earth to the moon)- nobody has done this before. Personal computers is not even existing yet - maybe they should watch the video on recovering the computer used in Apollo flights. Now with space x - everything is there rocket technology, powerful computers, good sensors, etc. now saving those rockets maybe good thing for their mission ( commercial or not) . I just hope that nasa and space x continue what is next to be done - go to mars or any satellite and settle there.
