It does seem that this is something that we should all be giving grace and understanding to. This Video gives a great global view of where the struggle of loss and grief comes from. I am of course, in my capacity to understand this struggle empathetic to this conflict trying in my best capacity to understand why our children are acting like plebs in the face of our educational environments. I think that the consequences from the failure of Market Garden was that General Eisenhower and his staff decided to advance on a broad front for the remainder of the war instead of deep penetrating thrust. This caused General Patton and others great frustration for they felt that properly executed that a deep rapid advance was exactly what was needed to end the war quicker.

These men were all volunteers not a single conscript amongst them, they chose not only the regiment they wanted to be placed into they chose to pick up arms and join their British compatriots, The Canadians were absolutely remarkable a civilian army that became as good if not better than a regular army, often achieving their objectives with sheer grit and determination, along with having to fight to keep their experienced officers and NCO's who were all being poached by the British. I can't wait to be in Normandy in the 6th to pay my respects to these amazing people. We would not be here without such men, we can never thank them enough for their fortitude and service.🍁🍁🍁🍁

It was unlike Montgomery to take chances like this. He was a cautious commander most of the time. There were just too many things that could have and did go wrong with Market Garden for it to have been successful. But the failure of the generals to cancel the operation upon learning that two SS Panzer Divisions were in the area was unforgivable. A lot of damned fine soldiers died unnessicary from this operation.
