It's perfectly valid if no one in the circus likes Jax, but I think Jax isn't all bad. I don't think he'll ever really change, but I think there is a vulnerable, redeeming part of him that he puts up a front to conceal, and doesn't want to get close to anybody because of what it means when they abstract. Maybe one of the circus members IS an NPC, and Jax doesn't think there's a difference anymore if they all live in a videogame. Caine will just dispose of them all the same when it isn't possible to play with them anymore. I really love that Ragatha, instead of taking Jax's route, chooses to seek connection with the other circus members, especially Pomni. She doesn't seem to be doing it with ulterior motives, at least to me. I think her desire for friendship is genuine, and that friendship is what helps keep her sane. Kaufmo was likely incredibly isolated for some time before he abstracted. It's possible Ragatha regrets not doing more to express her concern for Kaufmo. It's also possible Jax egged him on because he thought he was being hilarious, and feels regret for doing so.

Because he has a mixed personality, he does bring action to the circus but smth tells me he knows a little or two about how to "exit" the circus.

Honestly in a World where a Bakugou Katsuki was loved back in Early seasons 1-3 while Jax is getting amounts of hate from fans for the 2nd Episode, even though Bakugou had done worst stuff than Jax in his introduction.

So here’s what I think will happen: Ragatha will abstract and then another character will replace her that’s similar but not the same. The entire episode will basically be an allegory for how fleeting friendship and human existence truly is.

Jax is my favorite, because he doesn't act sad or crazy about his predicument. He is funny and bad which makes him very entertaining. (Ik some ppl don't see him the same way, but that's their problem and they shouldn't bother me about it.)

I think hes just angry and acting out, there's only so many ways a person can react to being trapped and anger is one of them, everyone else more or less just tries to make nice but he doesn't want to, he doesn't want to be there.

Jax is definitely the most fascinating character for me and I want to put him in a maze for rats and observe him like a science project

He has some degree of goodness, he's just so bad at it, that it's on a lower percentage.

I ❤❤❤ Jax. He is funny. And I agree with a lot of his ideas. We want to see adventure and blood and mystery and maybe some killing 😂

I mean, Ragatha has been in the circus for a while, so it's not that surprising that she might have seen something like this happen before. Caine even said he doesn't want to get NPCs mixed up with the circus members, which also implies that it's entirely possible this has happened before. Ragatha also said that Caine sometimes reuses NPCs, so I'm guessing that in poofing Gummigoo, he only poofed the current iteration. Gummigoo might eventually make another appearance, but with a memory wipe, which will of course make for some very entertaining and narratively satisfying existential anguish on Pomni's part.

Jax did not change. Jax was a dick in episode one, and he's a dick in episode two. And he's gonna keep being a dick in episodes 3, 4, 5, and so on.

While Jax isn't my favorite character, I don't hate him either. It's too early to determine and I would like to see how his journey continues.
