The lazy comments are frequently posted in the reddit. I left the reddit because of it. And nearly every video posted by Mojang has more than a handful of "lazy/dieing/sucks" comments. And there are definitely those who go to the other exreme. All you can really do is skip posts like either of those and eventually you don't notice them as much anymore

I am 10.5 months behind with my watch later. And my expectation was there would be an indestructible block 36 or something that replaced the button. So you couldn't even place it again or trigger the redstone otherwise

It’s simple really, dont like the update? Dont play with the new updates stuff or just dont play the new update. No need for hate in a forever growing community :)

When it comes to mojang. I really feel like for the mob votes in particular they are very lazy with it. It takes them on average a year to add a single mob. Whilst modders get all 3 them and their functionality into the game the same day as their announcement (I know the modding argument is bad but it’s just an example) Mojang also has a habit of adding blocks, items and features that are extremely niche and won’t get used by 99% of the player base. Like. How many people do you think actively use and craft tinted glass or the skulc sensors with the crystal on them

I don't think Mojang is lazy, but I think they could be more ambitious with the amount of content they add

19:45 unfortunately yes there is alot of people complaining, you are lucky you have an understanding community that doesnt complain alot but after everything minecraft posts on social media most comments are negative, i know they are just loud and there is more people that like/ are fine with the updates that don't comment but its sad to see the highlight on the negative

I've only recently returned to the world of minecraft after not playing since around 1.14, so while I do have *some* complaints about Mojang (cough coming back to your minecraft account being gone because it was registered on an old email address and then ignoring the singular email that came through on the email you actually use cough) (yes, i blame myself, but not without complaining!) and the general Microsoft ethics.. Lets just say that it's fantastic to have a game that works *and* is complete and functional without any DLC or mods. Unfortunately, I (also) play the Sims 4. The bar is on the floor 😅😂

I've been watching Grian, Mumbo, Scar and co roleplay and mess around on the server for 2 months, getting very little done and then I click a Doc video and see what I can only describe as industrial level insanity on the largest scale. Gotta love Doc.

there are some memes I’ve seen about devs working like 10 minutes a week and calling it a full work week but I think it’s mostly just friendly banter. I don’t think anyone is really taking it seriously, we all love this game and if they added things too quickly it would alienate the older player base; imo it’s growing at a perfect rate. Just slow enough to be fully used to the previous update before having to get used to something new.

Minecraft devs aren't really lazy and I kinda think what people are actually frustrated with is the updates feeling really minor. Imo there just isn't this hype feeling when a new update comes out and the reason might be snapshots. People have already seen everything that is going to be in the update, so there isn't this sense of exploration and finding new features in the game. There aren't less features in updates, it's just they don't feel new when they come out Another thing I want to mention is a lot of people play the game in a very boring way. I know many people that just grind out max armor and stop playing the game right after. My suggestion is giving limitations to yourself. For example I recently played without firework rockets, so I had a reason to use the trident. In that same playthrough, I decided, that to trade books from villagers, I'd have to get those emeralds without trading, and that made me do a solo raid for the first time.

Just a thought.. If you're worried about other people connecting to your chunk loading portals, you could set up a defensive portal network at a slightly higher y-level to intercept any incoming portal links. Unfortunately, it won't protect against overworld portals from below, but you could probably protect against most of those by setting up a few portals just outside the loaded chunks in the nether at y = 5. You've probably already thought of this, but I figured I'd make my first attempt at a contribution to the hive mind. Love the episodes btw. :)

No, not at the moment, I am on the fence, but the Tricky Trials update is ebbing me back towards contentment at the moment, while I still think the mace looks godawful, and the trial chamber is something I'll likely RARELY interact with, it's also a LOT of stuff in there, new gorgeous copper stuff, the crafter, and even the Breeze, which I feel most of the community at this point accepts that the blaze should be part of an elemental quartet, we just expected to get water second, not air. I just wish Breeze rods had more uses. Basically, am I content, not fully, but the trial chamber update is getting me there.
