i get the impression with these delta style printers, is it can print quite a bit faster than a I3 setup, but does it suffer in quality? I'm thinking about getting one of these to print some of my bigger items faster, but dont really want to replace boards etc as there doesnt seem to be a decent online community that the creality's etc have.

I auto leveled mine and ran a test print, it was good. Tried a different print and it dug into the glass plate several times. Did you have this problem? Also one print I tried started way to high.

You didn't want to read the manual before starting the assembly, right? :)

Hey dude, nice vid! I'm looking into getting the same printer myself. I was wondering if you'd be able to do the Kickstarter/Autodesk benchmark test and post a video going over how it turned out? That would be awesome, keep it up!
@kratos3d6614 роки тому
Well I would but at this point I've already upgraded this printer. Although it prints very well stock one of the most quality printers in its price range. I've updated the board along with tmc2209 and a all metal hotend the only downside this printer is the stepper motor drivers but the board does allow you to swap them out all youd need to do is update the firmware. But again that's not a must.
@alerx944 роки тому
what motherboard came your shipped with? i got mine with a shitty one with soldered a4988 drivers. so what's the point of 32bit using those drivers?? printer is way far those 55db stated, it makes a lot of noise, more than all my other i3s.. another pain in the ass, autolevel. once you do it it seems all good, but try printing and nozzle is way closer to the plate than before..
@kratos3d6614 роки тому
Yea that's the only thing I did not like about this printer but came with the MKS Robin Mini board with built in stepper drivers. The best solution for this is to replace it with the SKR 1.3 and a BTT TFT 35v3. Then you can put tmc2208 or 2209.
@alerx944 роки тому
@@kratos3d661 what about autolevel? Will it still work?
@kratos3d6614 роки тому
@@alerx94 Yes the SKR 1.3 board will still allow the auto-leveling, it will connect to the Z-min end stop. You'll just have to load a Marlin firmware that has it setup. I have a copy of Marlin 2.0 that I'll upload.
@alerx944 роки тому
@@kratos3d661 thanks bud, I'd be happy to see a video of you upgrading this printer. It feels it could be an awesome printer with just 2 things changed. I mean some tmc2130 for silent and homing without end switches and a way much more silent case fan. I mean come on flsun you could have a killer product

great review but like someone else said the background music is too loud

That you for the suggestion I'll definitely leave it out next time thank you.

Need to loose the music it makes it very difficult to hear what you are doing!
@gamezerge12294 роки тому
I'm guessing the music is copyrighted also, and not even a single mention about the song or its the creator in the description. I call lawsuit xD
