Hey mate, any update / feedback on the Mercator? Are you happy with it? About to order one. Cheers

Do the denon perl pro sound bad out of the box? You need to configure the personalized sound in order to get that wow sound quality, is that correct? Also have you tested them against momentum true wireless 3 but ALSO with the personalized sound option? it makes a big difference

Alright, so I've been in the iem hobby for about 4 years now, and I can help with a little bit of information 1. The shells on these are made of resin, and they're molded to fit MOST ears easier than an aluminum shell would. 2. The holes on the shells are for venting when pushed into your ears so that you get a better seal. 3. A lot of people have felt that the Cadenza are really underwhelming. I personally do not own them, and stayed away from them because of the reviews and graphs that I've read. Based on your TWS collection, it's a little difficult to tell what your sound preference is, but I can give a few recommendations that may help with getting into the iem hobby: As a disclaimer, I own all of these personally. - Kefine Delci ($50 on sale): Slightly warm, mild v shape that sounds extremely full with great detail and separation. In my opinion, they blow the EA500 out of the water in terms of tuning and resolution. - Shueor S12 ($120): Very bright with incredible sub bass rumble (if you're getting a good seal from your eartips). Very hard v-shape tuning.This set is one of the original planar releases, and still absolutely kills most of the iems in my collection without needing any kind of EQ. The treble on these can be quite a bit overwhelming if you're using the stock eartips, and I unironically use the Spinfit CP 240 with them to reduce the upper range a bit and provide a better seal. These are almost an auto-recommendation for anyone looking to figure out where iems start to hit diminishing returns. These things are incredible. - Blon x HBB z300 ($35): Massively powerful bass with a very clean mid-range. This is the set that stays on my desk at all times. I have a collection of IEMs worth a couple thousand at this point, and these are in my top 3 favorite picks. If you're looking for an iem that is easy to listen to, feels extremely premium, and punches substantially higher than it's price category, I fully recommend picking these up. - Aful Performer 5 ($250): Very balanced tuning with stellar separation. Neutral. These are absolute monsters in terms of detail retrieval. The tuning is very neutral and allows the music to speak for itself. I normally put these in when I want to hear every single micro detail that I normally wouldn't hear from my other iems. I wouldn't say that these are nearly as fun as the others on the list, but they're still absolutely bonkers in terms of the sheer amount of detail they manage to find inside of your tracks. Sorry for the super long comment, but I really hope this helps! Don't give up on iems just yet!

Two things: First comparisons of audio gear always include LISTENING comparisons; you did not. Secondly, since you mumble so unintelligibly, it probably wouldn't be understood if you did include a listening comparison. Do better if you want views.

I am also new to this, though I've jumped in fast and hard, but here's a few recommendations from a nobody: I feel like the TANGZU Wan'Ner out competes these at a cheaper price or for just a bit more than this price you can pick up the Truthear HEXA. Also, I'd love to know why you chose double winged tips? Double flanged eartips tend to color IEMs to be more treble heavy.

Comparing true wireless earbuds that are equivalent to a quality 130 dollar or so iem is more realsitic. Usually the metric of a 2 to 1 ratio applies. For 300 tws, a good 150 iem has the same sound quality
@peteypoints3111Місяць тому
Thanks for the feedback Hp 👍 I'm very new to this, the sound quality difference was night and day, I was a little disappointed after all of the hype reviews, and never having had a set of wired iem's before, do you recommend a particular pair that would be comparable to the Denon PerL Pro? Cheers Pete

Did you try unlocking your shaver before you used it? Braun may have activated the travel lock to prevent the battery from accidentally being used in transit. Only reason why I say that, is that I bought mine today and had the same problem, but when I've just gone to charge it now, there was one or two bars of charge on the shaver. Try unlocking the shaver by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds.

What charger were you using to charge it? I’ve got one and it should show the “PD” on the LED to let you know it’s being charged quickly via Power Delivery.. I find if it doesn’t show that it either 1. Doesn’t charge 2. Charges extremely slowly. I actually had my first one cook itself when I charged it with a non PD cable / charger. I love it though and I use the portable charger everyday.

It's a great compact little sub indeed! The fit and finish was also great, I unfortunately decided to return mine after having significant issues with multiple Kanto speakers, many other Kanto speaker owners had reported similar issues I experienced, I would still recommend the sub however 👍

I love the PerL Pros! They are my latest go to earbuds for the gym, the sound quality beats the Sony and Sennheiser hands down in my opinion! however, the noise cancelling compared to the Sony XM5's is rubbish! I would highly recommend the PerL Pros for the sound quality alone, However, I'd recommend the Sony XM5's as a better all-around option and choice if you had to choose just 1 pair to purchase 🤘

@@peteypoints3111 I can survive with the limited ANC on the Perl Pro but I can’t survive with the Sonys battery life and if I really want great ANC I prefer the Bose QC
@konstantinosdaglaroglou93394 місяці тому
It's the most expensive of its kind (except OEMs), but it's by far the best quality I've tried. Its bulkiness may put some people off, but all materials are top notch.

The band is an absolute ripper in my opinion!! I didn't like the garmin factory watch straps as they pulled on my arm hairs and In found they felt hot to wear, I also prefer the look of the Hemsut bands in combination with the aftermark bezel dial fascia add on, the watch looks less like a smart watch and closer to a casio g-shock in my opinion, which is what I previously wore prior to the garmin 👌
