I need advice. How do you cope with the fact that I'll never meet someone again? There's this girl that I spoke to and she's an international student who's going/gone back to her country. I didn't get her name or her contact info and I'm devastated because I felt like we really connected and it hurts that we'll never meet again (as classes have ended). How do I get over it?

Your thing about friendship, totally got me and I fully agree, had no real friends at school and now I have such a great best friendship like you and Blakney have, so yes, friendship will come, you just have to find your people which you will, maybe you just have to look somewhere else

But wait a few years and you will be surrounded by gorgeous people. Just because you’re shy, introverted or insecure, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a beautiful friendship. Believe in yourself! ❤

the people who say if you dont have friends there is a reason you dont are the same people who bullied people for being ''weird'' in school, those people can never be alone and dont know who they are when not surrouned by their ''friends''

i didnt have any friends at school or university, i spent all my time at uni locked in my halls bedroom, while my flatmates mocked me inthe kitchen and called me weird, i have ocd and social anxiety. also now i am 34 and still have no friends and am bullied still an outcast, but i dont care i am happy alone, i have my cats, my dog and my little garden flat surrounded by flowers and trees

It's wonderful to have a best friend, especially at you age, enjoy it as much as you can! Unfortunately people can grow apart (especially in their 30s) and the person who once was your best friend can turn their back on you while you are going through very difficult times. And so the friendship ends. So much sadness and disappointment. Hope this doesn't happen to you & your friend B.

You might meet a new person whom you like and shares the same interests with you. Blakely seems like a very nice girl whom anybody can make friends with.

I found this sweet yet painful to watch. I thought I had a fellow kindred spirt, we shared the same taste in books and tea just like you and Blakney I even brought her a tea pot for her 21st and have met her family yet she unfollowed me on social media with zero explanation. I thought we would be friends for along time after university but sadly I was wrong. But there are some close friends I have made at university so it was not all negative.

They say we can count our true friends on one hand x. Btw thanks for the memory of messing about in a red telephone box, 10p for a short call and somewhere to shelter from the rain, back in the 1980's lol!
