Gotta say I am moving to android next year, probably gonna get a Samsung at some point. Never been a fan of buying brand new phones or brand new anything for that matter. Only phone I got brand new was my iPhone 12 which my parents got me. It's been pretty good, has some issues and glitches a lot but don't plan on getting a new phone right now. I don't see the point of getting new phones every year, I was on a 7 until I got the 12. If I do end up getting an iPhone it'll be in 1-2 years. Just my opinion though, I do value a good camera and that is the only thing I am really considering upgrading for besides that nice 120hz refresh rate.

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max & Apple Watch Series 5. I have no problem with it besides the watch draining a lot than usual.. I got both since debuted. Probably gonna hold out until the 16 or maybe the 17.. that’s if my phone can last that long

Tbh phones have gotten super advanced these years,so no point upgrading every year,or even every 2 or 3 years Even a 11 Pro Max is still usable today,good camera even for today And don't apply only for iPhone,it does to most Androids that get more updates, I've had a Samsung Note9 for a couple of years,it served me good, didn't have a lot of updates but I romed it after some time,it was still a good phone even today, but I had an opportunity and upgraded to a S21 Fe Snapdragon, and imo,not a lot of differences,main things I've noticed are brightness of the screen,camera and performance, mostly in games,bcs in day to day usage, I'll say the were about the same I'll keep this S21 Fe until the updates end,so 2-3 years from now,hope it serves me well like the legendary Note9🙏🔥

the 6.1" size is perfect for me. I compared the 15 to 15pro and most of the features are the same. The extras on the pro is overkill for my use. So a few days ago i traded my 13 in for a 15. The main reason i upgraded was for the better camera. The 15 megapixel count is 4x what the 13 is. I have a huge Apple Music collection so i always get the 512g storage upgrade.

I find the iPhone se 3 works well. It takes good enough photos , I can stream things , use the apps I want . I am not a gamer , and I don't want to glue myself to my phone all day everyday so battery life not a problem. Plus I have small hands and don't like giant phones that I struggle to hold

I personally use a 15 pro, which was an upgrade from the 6s+, best purchase I made, insane camera boost, almost double battery, dynamic island, face ID, and all the new IOS features, but I dont plan to upgrade again until prob the 19 or 20, nothing worth spending 1000+$ every 2 years for minor upgrades.

Got an iPad Pro 11 inch 12Z chip (2nd gen ). It’s a great device but after changing jobs, with an iPad Pro 4th gen included, I’ve found I’m using my own just for media consumption and reading. If the new mini comes with a pro chip and maybe 120hz screen I will changeover in double quick time.

Generally an upgrade is really noticeable if you do it every 4-5 years. In between just replace the battery once just to be able to have a super solid phone for your 4-5 years. Anything sooner than that, you either just can buy it and enjoy it so do it, or you are a reviewer or you just want to flex which in this case you are a stupid person

Great ! I’m still using my iPhone 12 Pro 256gb. Recently took it to the Apple Store for a replacement battery and now it’s like a brand new phone from where I purchased new. No sluggish still going strong.

The hardware is reaching it's peak now, like there can't be any software out there that make hardware of smartphone run slow or got lag (except you are a gamer or work in multimedia field), we just move into a new era now where even a 200 dollars device still work perfectly fine (especially the old flagship).

Go with Vivo, Xiaomi, or Samsung trust me I started with ios and those phones and the other Android like red magic changed my life with the unlimited capabilities

Not upgrading anytime soon. I'm still using a 6 year old model phone that I got 5 years ago. It may not get updates anymore, but it still works. And I will continue to use it until the performance becomes too bad to use as a phone or if it breaks. Then I will upgrade. Fortunately with new phones, software upgrades are now up to 7 years as opposed to 3 years in Android or 5 years in Apple in the past.
