When I’m amongst nature, loneliness isn’t a problem. I’m communicating and communing with the landscape. Utterly entranced and consumed with the beauty of Mother Nature. I don’t feel the need to add more humans to the mix. Peacefulness begins in the mind. Then you match your energy to maintaining that peace of mind with nature and such. Now that I’ve found my personal peace, I don’t let folks or situations permeate that peaceful repose. A wise man said, ‘learning to ignore things is one of the greatest paths to inner peace’. Try it out.

That is so interesting how everything has been worked out for the benefits that are given back. It's really nice that their children help with outside chaos which gives them the incentive to realise all hands on deck works better. It shows you that everything which has been done was to intergrate everything to have a beneficial effect on areas of the garden to keep them under control by their chosen outdoor animals, as well as the contribution of the chickens who eat the grass as well. It is all well thought out and a pleasure to see their hard work unfold.

I must investigate a drier, as I had dried Persimmon when I visited California - very delicious!!

I can't believe how many people think that these building techniques like rammed earth, cob, adobe, sod, earthen floors, and myriad others are novel. They've quite literally been around since antiquity. There are thousand year old cob and stone houses in Europe still standing, still occupied to this day. It's just a return to what we used to use. A little less consumerism sprinkled in with a more permanent building material.
