Minimum wages violate the constitution, as the right to contract is violated. Government cannot dictate the terms of private contracts, and a WAGE is a contract between an employer and an employee. If a person is not satisfied with the wage an employer is offering, that citizen is FREE to find another employer, or start their own business to make the wages they desire. The courts have failed in their duty to uphold the constitution by allowing politicians to deceive the poor into voting for these destructive, unconstitutional edicts. Government CANNOT wave a magic wand and increase the standard of living with edicts. The ONLY way to increase your standard of living is to WORK HARDER, and STOP VOTING for tyrants.
